I first noticed on DW12 at Silverstone. After couple laps, I feel my wheel vibrating far more than at beginning. I now found the same on Corvette GT car.
I turned the damage milti =0. My AF wheel settings at raw FFB with 100%, all effects were turned off. I think this is nothing to do with the Wheel, since I did try on AC cars and found no such "issue".

How could this happen? I understand the track surface could build up the rubber, etc.... but shall not add that much more vibration though. Maybe the tire degrade parameter sets wrong (?)

Tire wear! You've managed to flatspot the front tire at some point.

Humm,, I did run over sideway once or couple times I guess or might spin-off once. Could that be a cause...(?)

and lock ups or spinning can cause Flat Spots.

On a lap you feel vibration hit Esc, Pit Out straight away......... if it was flat spotting you will know in an instant.

Use chase cam rotate camera and drop to wheel, slowly go forward, check for flat spots, they are visual.

I been getting this as well on my Accuforce, it's like rubber builds up on the tyres then flicks off, some time's it's enough catapult you off the track usually you need a bump to trigger it of. Maybe the the tyres are distorting i've heard other people complain about this as well and it's definitely not flats spots.

What is the main cause of flatspots ?
Wrong braking or wrong setup ?

    How to avoid flatspots ?

Sorry for asking stupid questions
I have also this problem very often after a few laps.

Brake balance and brake pressure are the main factors to dialing it out.

Is there a way of lowering this effect on the wheel? I'm in a championship with 45min races and i can't do more than 5min without flatspotting my tires=terrible vibration. I know this is a cause-effect thing but this vibration is too heavy, i don't want to eliminate it but make it less strong.

I know you gonna say "learn to drive" :) but in the meantime it would be good being capable of limit this effect.

    Thanks in advance.

To "limit this effect" to zero you can adjust this in the session settings.
Disable tyre wear or something like that.

I mean in the FFB, disabling tyre wear is not an option!

    Thanks anyway.

try to increase FFB smoothing in controls settings. Maybe it will help. But sure you will sacrifice FFB fidelity. I understand you would like to skip that "learn to drive" option at least fort this moment but in fact this is the only appropriate solution, sooner or later you will be forced to go that way.

FFB Smoothing in the Controls Menu in game, lower the number the more "Real" it is, higher the number the more Smoothing applied. Go too high and you may lose decent FFB though so find a nice balance, I have it on 4 for my G25 and yes it's rough when I lock up but I go for more realism over anything else :)

    Just try this great plugin:
    http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/23056-TrackMapPlugin-V0-96-32bit-64bit

and add the "WEAR – Tires and engine" box to your display. With this help you can easy see in which condition your tyres are.
Its also great to improve the overall grip level of your car (find the the right tyre pressure).

Just ignoring , disabling or reducing the FFB effect is not the solution. You get a tyre problem if you have the wrong setup or your driving style (locking brakes) is not ok.

I have to learn this

To change the setup, I suggest to start with this guide:
    http://www.racedepartment.com/threads/the-21-steps-guide-from-gtr2.99873/

It's perfect for beginners (like me)

BB (F3 Fanatics ) and me (F3 Rookies ) turn tyre wear up to 4x even 7x

    Great training tool.

Most leagues run reduced races would use 4-7X wear or they must be pussies. :)

    Or flat spot the rest.

    lol ;)

The rumble starts when the tire damage is below 95%.

When the tire is below 85 % the FFB rumble effect is so high, that it is impossible to drive anymore.
Regarding the Trackmap plugin "Tire wear" info box, I don't have a flat spot.

I made some test with the BT-20, Indycar and the newest Nissan GT 2011.

After 2 or 3 hard braking operations (with locking tyres) the FFB rumbles as hell.
Is it so easy to kill a tyre in rf2 ?

The tyre damage indicator is still above 80 %
