Thank you Gjion and ISI team for all the work you have put into these lines of code (must be more than any OS).
I don't know how you do it but thanks for all the free stuff!! Who can name a developer who actually gives out free stuff (DLC).

    So far you gave us:

    29 different cars
    2 Safety Cars ;)
2 Experimentals (Quads and Remote Control)

    and

    22 different race tracks

    All this for free!
    You are awesome!

    Thanks!

Nothing better than ugly competition to value our girlfriend/wife.
Thank you AC, Project Cars, F1 codemasters, etc for being the way you are.

    Love you Isi.

    /Signed.

With the recent flood of teacks and some exceptionally well made cars this is becoming a truly complete sim experience. And it keeps getting better.

Renault Clio (which used to be default)
    Mercedes SLS (F1 safetycar)
and the corvette that was released with the IMS/indycar release (which is now the default, right?) This one isn't on the rfactor.net download page though???

Thanks ISI especially for continuing to make core updates. The core is what distinguishes each game from each-other otherwise we'd all be playing the same identical games but with just different car/track selections.

Of course content updates are much appreciated (and needed) as-well.

P.S. This thread isn't just for "fanboys" :)

True. But...have you ever bought a plane or chopper for DCS World? One of them is more expensive than rF2 is.
Good thing they do sales every now and then. ;)

Have to admit though, there's still much more modded content on my install than default ISI. So a large part of the success now goes to the modders.

Well I would rather ISI spent 10 years doing what they are doing, Slowly adding to the core, slowly adding excellent high quality content.... Rather than spewing out add ons, Dlc and "dreampacks" that cost money every 5 minutes with generic physics and handling, I'm immune to /sarcasm

    rF2 Yo :p

That's a good point Steve, or at least slow is better than nothing, there is nothing else out there. I just wish occasionally when builds go bad something would be done to rectify that, because it does a lot of harm else. And I would not go quite as slow as you suggest else IR might make a big step forward which might well make RF2 a busted flush.

I don't think there is something magical regarding rF2 content wise but rather the core itself that makes driving less generic than competitors.
I would rather see faster content updates (majority of the cars/tracks are not using the latest capabilities of the updated core). I would also like more licensed but still quality content additions even if it's paid DLCs or mods. However I don't think that's possible with current PR and low appearance in the market (low sales - low investment).

Also I don't see an issue of DLCs "spewing" as long as they are good value and can support further game development ( I find AC dreampacks very good value, more so than URD mods).

I count 55 vehicles and 54 track layouts (OK, some are very close, like DW12 Honda/Chevy or Indy 400/500 ).
At roughly 75€, it is the cheapest part of my rig :D Thank you ISI !

Not to mention the modding community. There are really magnificent works being done (just one example), kudos to them too !
