File "GRAS_slope02_Norm.dds" is part of "Bathurst_Maps.mas", which i found in the data folder under "\rFactor2\Installed\Locations\3PA_Bathurst_2014\1.0" File length is: 238.868 KB here.
Beautiful track! What I really like is when modders start to experiment with the gfx engine and add new stuff. Mianiak has done this for Sears Point (auto scooter), for Newerburg (rollercoaster animation, first version of 3d trees, the preview video... ) and now for Bathurst. The 3d trees are absolutely amazing! Night lighting looks excellent. He gave a hint some time ago. http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/23283-Making-a-3d-tree?highlight=tree Many thanks to all involved.
On one hand, I think it's dangerous to make statements like this generally when stuff is based on real life (tracks or cars) - two quite realistic versions should look similar to each other, which is rather the point On the other: I agree, in at least one aspect. The slight left kink into T2 is something I've seen in pCars videos, and unless something has changed in the last couple of years isn't accurate (the reference videos I have are from 2011 and previous). The dipper and the section afterwards into, and including, Forrest's Elbow, looks much more realistic than the ORSM rF1 track that was mentioned in another thread, so that's good.
Same file length here, but it doesn´t load. I had another Bathurst versions before, but not right now.
Yes very exciting, still bothers me that some of the best GTR/GTL modders I know make excuses to me why they do Assetto Corsa and not rF2. LMAO ...ROF hehehe
I have the same problem. I downloaded the file from ISI web site and the track would not load. I deleted the Bathhurst rfcmp file and the folders in installed/locations and Player/setting. I then downloaded and installed through Launcher/remote content. Same issue; won't load. The file size from my last attempt is 351,462 KB.
