News post, screens: http://rfactor.net/web/2015/09/03/montreal-10yearsofrfactor-conversion/ Another very quick rFactor conversion, this time featuring Montreal! There have been upgrades to support realroad (changing track surface grip) and a number of other things. The great thing about this conversion is that it was done by a complete novice as a weekend project, using gJED and other tools freely available to modders. Obviously he had to ask a lot of questions, and it has a retro look compared to recent works from our track team, but we think it speaks volumes for the tools now available to the rFactor 2 community. omg, it is a great time to be a simracer in the modding community!!! Think I might attempt a scratch/conversion build of a track!!
Amazing times indeed. How on earth will I find the time to race all this new content?? [emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Does this mean there will be no video tutorial by ISI? I can see a lot of new content coming soon so a video explaining things will help. The novice your aiming at needs the help. Just as this person had to ask for help a video guide will be a great insentive to boost the quality at the same time as all this new content is about to turn up. .
