Just watching the BBC (UK) coverage of the Belgian GP qualy show and they did a piece on young Max Verstappen with his dad Jos at their home. They showed a section of Max driving his home sim rig and I`m sure it was rf or rf2 he was driving? Certainly looked like it... Pity to see him driving in T-cam view though...
if you could try to find that piece of video, or record it and upload, so we can take a look, would be great
I hope someone is grabbing him for a ISI interview and concentrate on the actual driving, physics , tyres. We know wot' we think about dat' But you can't very well go calling a F1 driver a pussy ..............can I ? lol I am sure his new setup is forced cockpit.
I wont name names but a former FSR race winner set max up with RFactor and his PC. They met at a F3 test a couple of years ago and stayed in contact. They do some practice together. PS and yeah Durge, you feel free to tell him he's doing it all wrong. I wont be saying it.
A golden opportunity to furnish him with RF2 and a decent rig in return for his feedback and commentary. Think of all the sales from guys ...and gals who want to be "just like Max." Seriously though! Good to see him unwind and enjoy simracing.
Yep. Speaking of which, few weeks ago Bono Huis who is FSR world champion on rF&rF2 beat Max in Dutch sim racing contest. There is definitely great skill in rF/rF2 world, shame that there isn't more exchange between sim racers and real drivers. Translation from a dutch website: Because this is serious for him, there is invested in a really good set. What you've seen maybe ever, Grand Prix drivers are almost lei flat in the car. That is why he has chosen a Playseat F1 with Logitech steering wheel for PC and Playstation (€ 1,299) with an upgrade to spike Fanatec then you're on the € 2,000. To make it more realistic and to improve the last hundredth of a second per lap, is also installed a motion system that mimics the movements of the car. The costs are around € 10,000. That is not for everyone but for him a necessity. The PC that is played on is just as powerful and top specifications: Intel i7 processor 8GB DDR4 memory GTX980 graphics card Gr,
