I can't get this to work in rF2, It work out of the box with AC and GSCE.

I have copied the files to my rFactor2 folder and the plugin are on in the rF2 settings.

But it never connects to rF2, no data

    Where to start to troubleshoot??

    Hi,

I haven't tested the latest rf2 version so there could be a compatibility issue.

Though, have you put the plugins in the right x32 bit or x64 bit folder according to what u r using?

Did you copy the dlls before u started the game?

Anyway, I'll give it a test when I get home. You can also check if there are any errors in the app log file.

Yes I have copied the files to both 32 and 64 bit plugins folders.
I'm using 64 bit version of rF2 and as the plugin are listet as "on" in the setting in the game I assume the the plugin have been loaded but it doesn't connect the data stream
    (D:\carsims\rFactor2\Bin64\Plugins)
    Nothing in the logfile.

Did you actually go on RF2 track? The plugin only starts when you go on track.

Yes, I did 2 laps on Mills inner loop C with Flat6 mod.

I noticed a db file in Program data, should I remove that and and start all over?

No, that should not be the problem. That stores your settings and custom widgets. Do you have both LEDs Web Stream and Plugin Stream at bottom green?

I'm firing up RF2 to test it myself as I haven't for months....

Seems like the rF2 plugin is not loading. Whats the Proracing app version...v1.6.0.2?

And Im assuming rF2 is using x64 as I am not supporting x32...?

    OK, thanks anyway.
I will get a new PC in a week or so, so I have to reinstall everything.
I will let you know how it goes.

could also be blocked by a software firewall (windows or av addon or similiar).

I actually thought of it, like port being blocked by firewall.. but he said it worked for gsce

Yes it works for GSCE, so it shouldn't be a firewall issue

    Hey Biker !

Just a quick word to tell you that I had not the chance to re-test your plugin since one of the first version, but I tested it yesterday !

    Good job, really !

I am testing it to use it on a browser, not in game.

    Stability was awesome

I created a dashboard that I was able to edit and Save, wonderful !

I saw some fuel widget !

The widget "Laps done" is a widget that I never saw on another plugin where it is REALLY helpful when testing a setup for a long run and you need to know since how long you are on track.

I even "create" a small widget for brake temp (that I must redo now that I understand it a little more)
It was really really cool !

    Keep the good work !

I have a couple of idea for more widget:

    - Fuel estimated left in time (how much timeliest before fuel is empty)

    - 2 different kinds of clocks. I think that could be interesting to know what is the time on track. and what is the time in real life (I have my browser in fullscreen)

    - Brake temp and brake wear

    - A visuel to know that the pit limiter is active

    - Damage on the car

    - A way to share customer dashboard

    - I am not sure if that could be possible, but Pit menu control ? so someone on the computer could prepare the next pitstop for the driver on track ?

Here is the dashboard that I created (Yeah I know, brake temp is not good, I will redo it): View attachment 19110

Anyway, that is some suggestion, you tell me if it is possible or not
And in each case I will certainly use it on my next endurance race !
