Hi mate, If you want to use it on the tablet just enter the url http://dash.proracing.club on your tablet and enter the IP and Port found on your listener windows app. If you create a short cut on your tablet, it will open like a full app the next time. Here how you can make it work in full: 01. First download the file found at http://dash.proracing.club/ labelled (version 1.5.3.0 x64bit) 02. Unzip the content 03. Copy the rFactor2 folder found in the unziped folder onto your rFactor 2 installation 04. Install ProracingInstaller_v1.5.3.0_x64.exe 05. You will now have a new icon on the desktop. Click on it to open. 06. Choose rFactor 2 07. Click on "Start Listner" 08. Click on "Open Dashboard" and the web app will open on your web browser. You can also open the url in tablet or any other device. 09. Start your rFactor 2 game 10. Now choose any of the dashboards or create your custom dashboard as shown in video above. Cheers
The sectors should be fixed now. I also changed its format as its safer like this. Best lap and Last lap work for me as seen below (track was spa with clio). Maybe rF2 is sending bad data at times? Current lap...I am not sending it for rF2 as could not find it in plugin....will see if i can calculated it....
Are many of you having the same issue of it not working? If so give me more details pls. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
I did some tests yesterday. What I can see is that streaming can be down for long while, then it starts. It just looks like the web sockets (I guess you have) stops/never starts receiving data... (could not see any javascript errors though via F12 in Chrome). But , then suddenly it all works. Not really sure. I used both a standalone laptop as well as a tablet as external displays. I'll try see if I can create some better information later on.... Need to check for used ports, etc. Maybe you should try to log more information from the plugins, and the main application, to ensure they are all sending data as expected - a "tick" whenever data is sent/read by clients... a blinking LED maybe
Yeah, thats a good idea. I'll add some kind of indicators and logging so one would know whats going on. Though note that rFactor 2 ONLY starts streaming when you actually join a session and the car is ON Track. Could it be that your car was not on track yet? What exactly you mean when you said " What I can see is that streaming can be down for long while"? Like nothing comes to a dashboard? ingame widget or web dashboard?
btw, with next release, these widgets will be available Video from Raceroom experience but its the same thing
Car is definitely on track. No cannot really say when, but all of a sudden the widgets start showing info... I haven't seen the other way around, i.e. widgets works when going onto track, and then stops working. Only - go on to track - not working - not working ... - then (suddenly) working... working - ESC - widgets reset. And the working does not come all of the times. The widgets sits idling forever...
Ah, they are on web dashboard. Game is running full screen (should of course try running in windowed mode to verify...)
link in frist post seem down to download the last version EDIT: forget it, I downloaded it directly here: http://dash.proracing.club/
Hehe thanks ! Really like the "create your own widget" Is there a way to edit a created widget ? I realizes that I forgot something AFTER having creating it
