Just a question to ISI. Will ISI be releasing a spreadsheet to assist with the new engine file. We are in desperate need for something in this area. We have ttool and the suspension sheet 0.7 and this would complete the picture for physics. I really need this to finish an engine file I am working on. Congrats on the suspension spreadsheet 0.7 it is a ripper and should be invaluable to modders
I made tons of spreadsheets some while ago; power/torque lines, back torque, fuel mixture, throttle mapping, aero balance and so on. I made one "nice" to hand it out here (the first one) but there was not much demand for. Not much use in that now; the ones I got are not suited for others as you won't know what I mean/what to fill in and so on. Engines are my specialty though and I can help you out if you want. Just say what you need and I will have a look.
Can you Pm the links for those spereadsheets please they do not seem to work any more. Many Thanks, I will sort out what I need to ask you and PM you probs later this week
On phone now because at work. The file I shared here, wont be much use; just power line. The others are just for me as there is no explanation whatsoever; need to do that from my head and you wouldnt know what to fill in or what comes out. I will send you the one with power line tonight anyway.
WHat do you need engine spreadsheet for? i dont understand, engines are pretty straight forward. There are plenty of programms that will do the engine curve for you and..well.thats all you need really
Sorry Mike, but if you are seriously building an engine, a proper modern one, that is just not true. You can make or break the engine with the fuel mixture alone. The old ones that didn't have those lines; okay, but not the new ones. Don't even get me started on turbo's.
I will try and do some work this week and get back to you with some Q on PM but dont hold your breath I am a little time poor this week. Many Thanks
Thats alright; willing to help out mate, but you don't have to make use of it. I can imagine you want to do it yourself. Let me know what I can do, no problem.
