Thanks for the tip. I did take Howston G6 out for a spin (literally) the other day, never thought of ovals, and now that I think of it, it does make sense considering how "wobbly" and alive those damn cars are.

Seriously it had taken you 3 years ! lol ;)

Historics Oval Racing = Indy, Texas, Orchard Lake, Nazareth and Joesville.

P.S. F1 Eve at Joesville is like a sprint car. :p

I was doing Indy Oval with the Cobra. Good times and much sideways action with tyre temps going through the roof. You really had to pick and choose when to go fast.

It is a funny thing with rF2 that you can get immersed in to just one car for a long time at once, and forget it after that when you find something new and shiny. I only got into oval stuff with the DW12 and new Indy, so I'm kinda reintroducing my self to the whole garage again. Like historic F3's I played alot when I first found rF2, and then just moved on to other cars. Couple weeks ago, I took them around Atlanta motorpark and just WOW! Awesome fun with the AI.

In essence, yeah it took me 3 years. I can smell the Stock Cars in the air... Timothy, lets have them already.

Had a hard time trying to pick what to drive the other day, remembered the Panoz. Been drifting it since around AMP. Hell that's fun.

When it first came out, it didn't fit with my driving mentality and after maybe 2 hours that was it.
Around two weeks before the Cobra came out, I was reading and watching all I could and went back to the Panoz to see what could be learnt in preparation.

3 days that car had me captivated, that's 24 hours. It only stopped when the Cobra was released but I'll be back, one day I'll be back for sure.

I believe that is something based on ISI physics, and most likely RFactor 1 based. I can tell (or rather think I can tell) from the physics. The way the vehicle behaves, grips, ungrips, slides, reacts to inputs, goes around corners, steers, bounces, etc. etc. etc. seems like ISI-style dynamics at work - RF1 style to be more specific. Can anyone confirm that?

P.S. The guy could atleast write down some info under the video, at-least the game he's using, geez, lol.

Yes, they are PixSim's Alpine A364. I've converted them (with permission) from rF1 to Game Stock Car (or Stock Car Extreme, nowadays) - so you're right, it's all ISI physics. You can download the mod at Racedepartment. I doubt you'll regret. :)
