    Nuno, 1920 x 1080 x 32 bits.

    I'm planning to do exactly what you mentioned, but hardware in my country is pretty expensive.

    On single gpu I mostly hit 60fps, 85 with sli is welcome but the frequent drops to 30s and stutter made it unpleasant.
    It could of been the track, I'm away atm so cannot try others.

    This rF2 SLI debate has lasted a few years now. Both build 946 and 982 has notes about improvements in SLI/multiview, so ISI has worked on it. I think if it's not working now, it's unlikely to improve much any more in future builds. It seems some get it to work well, some don't, so it must be a nightmare for ISI trying to figure this out. If it hasn't worked until now, I agree with above posts, give up on it and get single card instead.

    Tested in Mills outer C (I did not find D :p) + Camaro

    1920x1080 8xAA 16xAF
    Everything maxed out in game
    Cockpit Cam
    2 laps, overcast and rain, 95% rain chance, 29AI + 1AI (me) starting from last one.
    2 laps benchmarked with fraps. Start benchmark on green flag and stop when car passes finish line on second lap.

    Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
    17027, 325797, 35, 66, 52.263

    Here you have the replay to everyone who wants to test it. (Replay fidelity in Full)

    http://simracing.endless-resources.org/downloads/Nuno/Mills Outer Loop C R1 1.rar

    Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
    12648, 326750, 26, 54, 38.708

    Note: Replay its much more demanding from my pov because... Really don't know...(I was wrong about this "its not using billboard planes to render rainspray anymore"... :D )

    Have a nice benchmark session ;)

    Edit: Its still using BB planes but for some reason it look better....

    Take a look at this thread

    http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/25519-Build-982-Multiview-SLI

    "SLI'd Nvidia cards, build 982 requires new SLI compatibility bits.

    The one that works reasonably well from the drop-down menu of Nvidia Inspector is (LEGO, Batman 2, LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean,...)
    The actual bits are (0x02D04005). The rest of the settings can be left as per your preferred values if using Nvidia Inspector."

    I used these SLI Compatability bits and now Atlanta runs at 75-100 FPS, Silverstone at 105-135 FPS!
    I am running without HDR, but WOW, that is how SLI is supposed to perform!
    Seems to be a compatability bits issue.

    Thank you Nuno.

    I realized I had different cars in my test, so I`ve just used only Camaros and got similar results than you.

    Min FPS = 39, SLI OFF.

    But is very horrible to play, developers should look into this corner:

    [IMG]

    So, all in all, your system is perform pretty much like mine does. 30 - 40 FPS is really a piece of crap mainly when you have stutters. I'm going to perform extensive tests and reinstall the game. No much hope, but still.

    Regarding to post above (dsuspense), no HDR is not an option currently.

    It's far to be an exact science, this 0x02D04005 bits gives me a slideshow.

    Yes, unfortunately, it seems to vary by card generation with Nvidia. I am using the original titans (Kepler generation). In my case the improvements are for multi-screen, multi-gpu use where stutters and low frame rates are a lot more noticeable than SLI & single screen use.

    You may want to try variations of the SLI bits although the improvement seems to be minor between 0x02D04005 and 0x02D02005 in my case. This is an update from the default 0x02402005 bits which suggests that the rF2 executable code changes require a new profile directly from Nvidia rather than end users hacking existing SLI bits and hoping for the best. 0x02C00405 used to work quite well in build 946.

    I thought it is common knowledge that Mills Metro and Portugal are not updated and don`t work with Nvidia SLI.

    You were in fact the very same person that gave me this advice. Easiest solution(workaround perhaps) ever.

    If you're pc's sole purpose 3d wise is rf2 then single card is a no brainer, rf2 I would guess acounts for >5% of my game time. I need sli, just a shame it doesn't benefit me here. I'm in the zone where a single card doesn't quite cut it, dual makes it worse.

    Comparisons between 1 and 2 cards with HDR enabled would be highly appreciated.

    There's no such thing "update for SLI", all tracks use the same set of shaders.

    Nobody is talking about any SLI updates. You can run 1000 years with SLI at Mills with HDR and different SLI bits, 31 fps is what you get. Low fps at Mills has nothing to do with shaders.

    rF2 build 982, Nvidia 353.06 drivers, nVidia GeForce GT 650M SLI

    HDR: ON
    Car: Nissan GT-R
    SLI: ON
    SLI Compatability bits: 0x02D04005

    Atlanta: 70-95 FPS
    Silverstone: 80-115 FPS

    HDR: ON
    Car: Nissan GT-R
    SLI: OFF

    Atlanta: 30-50 FPS
    Silverstone: 46-67 FPS

    I overclock my GeForce GT 650M SLI cards using nvidiainspector (overclocking was done for both SLI ON and OFF):

    nvidiaInspector.exe -setGpuClock:0,2,980 -setMemoryClock:0,2,2300 -forcepstate:0,0
    nvidiaInspector.exe -setGpuClock:1,2,980 -setMemoryClock:1,2,2300 -forcepstate:1,0
    ||-forcepstate:0,5
    ||-forcepstate:1,5

    I go even higher with overclocking for AC and pCARs and it works fantastic!

    nvidiaInspector.exe -setGpuClock:0,2,1050 -setMemoryClock:0,2,2250 -forcepstate:0,0
    nvidiaInspector.exe -setGpuClock:1,2,1050 -setMemoryClock:1,2,2250 -forcepstate:1,0
    ||-forcepstate:0,5
    ||-forcepstate:1,5

    With that Lego compatibility bits I get pretty-much perfect SLI scaling regardless of graphics settings (including high reflections) w/ triple screens, multiview, and HDR (as I posted in a new thread).

    I'm very impressed.
