Thanks for the pic - I don't have much refs for this so that's a help. Regarding the white lines - both inner and the outer blends still need to be sorted. The textures all dependent on each other, if you know what I mean. Thanks David
I live an hour away from the track and am a season ticket holder there. I can get some shots for you if needed. Only issue is that the first race of the season isn't until the beginning of May, so it might be a while for some of those shots. But if you need anything, let me know
It's on the way to Turn 5, just past the Sargento Bridge. Turns 2 and 4 aren't really turns, but are counted as such https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Road_America.svg I'm also trying to find some pics for you Davidd. A site that has a good reference to the billboards is the actual Road America FB page. https://www.facebook.com/RoadAmerica/photos_stream As I find more, I'll let you know. I haven't gone through my actual pics yet (I don't take very many of the track though :/)
Thanks again Chris - anything and everything would be most welcome in updating this. I look forward to more - it really helps! David
I don't know how I missed this thread! I'm very thankful that Road America is getting the love it deserves! I had worked with Dennis early on when he was building it for rFactor1 and provided him all of my in car video, GPS data, and photos while at the track on race weekends. I can't wait to take it for a spin in the sim!
The track is out there for rf2. The Project originator, Dennis Grebe and Motorsports track builder Alex Coutie made this available some time back. I've just given it a texture makeover. View attachment 19497 Cheers David
I hope I get it right! Thanks for the supportive messages. View attachment 19500 A touch more track shading
