Very nice update. Try this at Lester, just great. No more grazy grip with 1-3 gears but still much more approchable than F1 cars. FUN.

ps. sounds like a new build is on it's way :)

matf1, no problem :) I`m driving only cars with new CPM lately, so uninstalling some old mods didn`t hurt.

That's not a bad idea I will uninstall every car without cpm. Thus showing the real potential of rf2. Cant wait to see all the cars updated. Wonder how the Skippy will be with the new tyre model ?

Mountain peak speedway is insane. Fidelity of dreams. We need that patch now though. Not a good look for best car ever released with no tire sounds.

Just had about an hour around Indy oval Vs AI.

It seems much less forgiving in general in oval spec. I tinkered for a while to get it to feel alright over a few laps then went in to a 15 minute race.

Started off fine but as the 15 minutes went on it was clear I needed setup changes and to adjust my driving style as the run went on.

The rear right got progressively looser as the run went on and the tyres we keeping a higher temp.

I'm not giving an opinion on whether it is "right" but as I say it certainly felt progressive and natural. A lot of fun.

Oh and I've put up a server with short sessions for quick fun.

    "Pitlanes.com Indy" oval config. Enjoy.

Aware of that. If nobody else from ISI has said yet, we'll organize a repackage.

Good news, thanks. It's just strange driving without the tyre sounds, you realise just how much you depend on it.

If I don't get tyre sounds (like in real life racing where you almost never hear them), then I expect to get a full motion rig (along with a 30-Nm capable DD servo wheel and full feedback pedals) sent to me to make up for it. I'm still waiting, ISI :)

Looking forward to driving this, and to the new build. Can't wait!

Yesterday was a national holiday and I took most of the day off. You'll be getting a response sometime today.

First time in over a month that anyone has had to wait longer than 24 hours, didn't take long for an off topic post about it. :)

    Thanks Tim!

Stay tuned -- more INDYCAR goodness in the works :)

I'm working on a 2015 Indianapolis 500 carset (yes, with oval aero kits!) due later this summer.
