    This problem is really strange.
To be honest, i was too lazy too read all new posts since i wrote my last reply. :)

Because of this and because i haven't seen it mentioned before, i have to ask if you, before you formatted your Harddisk and installed everything new, made some Backups of some files that you've put into the new rF2 installation?

Did you ever made a try with a fresh rF2 installation without using anything from any old installation, especially no old player.JSON or controller files?

And did you ever made a test with only the G25 and no other controller plugged?

I did take backups yes, but I tried many fresh installs with the last 3 versions. I only have the G25 controller and the fanatec clubsport really :)

Yeah some people make the error of uninstalling it.

No need just rename and re-install.

If the new Lite version happens to work and FF is okay all you need do then is copy across rfm mods, skins, setups, real road yadda yadda. only a few GB

I would remake player and controller jsons from fresh and re install all components.

That is why I keep all components in separate folders archived ( so they don't have to be moved to new installs )

I use the G25 with it's normal pedals, so i don't know if it is possible:

Can you plug the G25 without the fanatec pedals?

Thats what I actually do too. I have all the packages/mods in separate folders on the data disk :)

If you set the FFB multiplier to zero does the wheel go totally limp (I'm guessing not)?

If not it suggests there is a centre spring overriding what rF2 is sending to the wheel.

Do you have an rF2 specific Logitech profile or do you just set what you want in global settings?

If you set centre spring enabled in Logitech but at 0% do you still get the centring effect in rF2?

Good point....I'll check it out! :)

Nope, whatever value it does not make a difference!

    Interesting point......

Yes, I always setup a specific profile for each game.

No! I tried that yesterday and the wheel seemed dead!

Gosh, you seem to know this stuff very well (of course, your plugin is awesome :) ).........so what do you think is going on?

    Thanks mate!

    My suggestion...

Uninstall rFactor2 and Logitech Profiler. (Delete all folders left over)

Download and Install then run CCleaner. LINK

    Restart.

Install Logitech Profiler only connecting the wheel when asked to.

Do Not set any profiles up in Logitech Profiler, let it choose whatever game it finds.

Goto Global Device settings and Choose your usual setup.

Now install build 946 and goto controls, detect wheel and setup you buttons.

    Play.

If this doesn't work then there is more at play than Rf2 and Logi profiler, and I think your only hope would be another reformat to at least rule out any major windows problems.

Interesting, how did you have the centre spring set previously?

As for what's going on, I'm really not sure yet but with some sensible troubleshooting we should be able to work it out.

The suggestion above sounds very sensible, a full rF2 & Logitech driver reinstall then see where we are without touching any rF2 or Logitech config options.

Do you have any other game controllers connected besides the Logitech?

Previously it was set to enabled and 0% so I'm a bit baffled now why the same settings produce a different result. I'm even doubting myself now what I had before...

I just have the clubsport pedals v2. The thing is that with other games, everything works as it should be (they all have the same profile settings setup)

I'll do some more tests tonight. Thanks.

OMG FFB mystery has been SOLVED and is now alive again!!!!

After not giving up and keep trying every single thing, it transpired that when I created the specific Logitech profile, I chose the "Launch rFactor.exe" found in \rFactor2\Launcher instead of \rFactor2\Bin64\rFactor2.exe

After I set it like image below, rFactor is now a new whole world again! ;) Thank you all for your kind help and tips!
