If you want a real challenge take the trackday version to a karting track ;)
This is insane. I've had so much fun that can’t be legal.
My actual best at Mountain Peak Karting Long is 43.4 with default setup. Still improving...

Haha, I might have to try.

I'm seriously in love with this car.
    Here's the hillclimb@indy

and a 5 lapper at Putnam, this combo is a perfect match!

I did one earlier, but it wasn't that great, then everyone was doing the Tourist version, so I gave up on the 24Hr XD

43.7 and I see what you mean. You'd think these would be way too big, but it's just like any small stadium or indoor track such as ROC.
Thanks for putting another huge smile on my face Chris. Wow, this car!

I like to suggest to check the wheel range lock and steering geometry on this car.

It overdrives mechanically in my opinion. You can turn the car with full lock around a circle in a very unnatural way and very small radius.

And yes i know about the axle distance and all that, but i don't get rid of the feeling that rf2 overdrives the steering mechanically in general.

It also results in brutal slip angle, the isn't a slip angle than anymore but blocking tires across the direction of travel.

On a real car i would mount hard stops to avoid this, if there wasn't the ability to change steering angle otherwise. ;)

I really like engineers with balls and how they take things in silence.

Is this a kindergarten or a driving simulator forum ?

Just asking, not that i'm in the wrong room.

Howsoever, this is the very last time ISI or any of you amateurs will here from me about anything related to physics.. I'm really sick of this ignorance and arogance.

Even the lowest steering angle or wheel range of 13° how you call it is a joke.

How you can't realize that is a mystery for me.

    Man how i hate ignorance.

Not a single word to say you super pros have for me, really ?

Shame on you and your toy steering. geometry.

Apparently it got past everyone mentioned in the description despite being a joke. Maybe they should have asked someone who has more experience having driven hundreds of cars (like you), instead of someone who'd driven this particular one.

    About steering,
there is a new system coming with this car, or better said a different way how this "wheel range" value gets intepreted.
With the new system, which is active by default, you simply change the stops of your steering rack, not the ratio, like before.
Something i find interesting here, changes in the "wheel rage" did also change the value in the hardware config under "settings->controls->steering wheel range" (have to enter the car, to take effekt).
The old system, still available under "car->tuning->Steering lock". For those who prefer a less direct steering.

this is about the car being so sensitive to input?? why is it impossible that its just like that? its hardly makes it undriveable.
