I turned 64 last Dec and survived "bilateral pulmonary emboli", doctor speak for blood clots in both lungs. I'm up to jogging 1.5 mi twice a week now. Every sunrise now is a spectacle to behold!

Thanks for the wishes. Full recovery. I think surviving the "event" is the thing. I was lucky. Good doctors and treatment has me back to my old self. New outlook has me trying to up my conditioning, hence the effort to jog. I will say this to all of you no matter what your age... when you hear advice like "do not sit for long hours without getting up and moving around", heed the advice. A week prior I did a 15 hour drive stopping only for gas and bathroom. Built a big leg clot that became the "feeder". Never again for me. Will always stand and walk around after 2-3 hours of sitting.
Struggling to keep near you in race I wouldnt believe you are half that Jogging is good but my lungs cant keep up, Im walking instead, 6km per day. I quitted smoking 135 days ago(and 13 hours and 4 minutes and 23 seconds), after 40(gulp) years, I started when I was 15(beat that). I calculate I have smoked 3300 less cigs since and saved 530euros already. Also I keep wondering what happened to the Eagle, Cobra is nice but you cant have a League season with it.

In the Netherlands 'Sport 1' launched a new race channel this week ... ... for the 'opening' event of that channel they got Max Verstappen to be there, and Go-Kart against some Price-Winners ... ... at that event I got the change to briefly talk with Max .... ... he appears to be a really nice guy that is very relaxed about the media and fans, despite his age!!!
