Some more requests/suggestions after I have ran some laps yesterday: The windscreens do clip each other and the reflection is a bit too heavy which wasn't there on the original car - maybe there happened any mistake in the materials settings or mesh by accident? The head of the driver seems to be moved forward. While the car is standing the back of the helmet should be leaned to the seat. The textures do look strange somehow...so much like a comic! It's absolutely an ISI thing and not yours but maybe you can try to improve them? Especially the headlights and cockpit textures should really need an overhaul. Just compare the look with the WSGT Megane and you will see what I mean. I would like if you could include the alternate skins from the original mod into your mod too. There are really some cool ones which are better than the default skin Thank you very much again for your efforts!!
Could you provide screeners about the driver and windscreen issues, because i can`t see them here... About the original skins, don`t know what you mean, they are allready included (skin 01-06).
I moved the M2009_SHADS.GMT down to the ground, but it makes visually no difference... //Edit: i moved the wrong shades...fixed shades would be included into next version. Thanks for the hint!
I wandered about in DescenteduMinier past and think it should be a little more nervous on the back. 60/40 as the classic 4x4 Subaru, Escort, Lancia. It's great fun and good brakes step curve fast but a little oversteer think could do.
Sorry for my belated response. I've needed to put the car in DevMode and take screenshots Window texture clipping of the inside materials. This happens in spinner and on track. I've replaced the mesh with the original one from the latest MeganeTrophy version and the clipping is gone (second screen). Brake clips through the rim on the front wheels. Screen was taken in spinner but it appears on track too. Maybe this is related to pivot points of the objects!? This is the ALT skin of No. 1 from the ISI mod. This is the ALT skin of No. 2 from the ISI mod. This is the ALT skin of No. 3 from the ISI mod. The issue with the static wheel shadow appears because of a zeroed pivot point after exporting the models (guess you are using 3DSimEd?). You need to manually set the pivot point to the shadow model center plus a z-axis offset because its coordinates are used to place the shadow relative to the center of the wheel model (or the model which is superior in the GEN file). Anyhow easiest way is to move the mesh down and use the pivot point from the corresponding wheel or caliper or such. And because I fixed these issues already in "my" version I'll uploaded my changed files for you later (including some optional fixes/changes)
Oh thanks for pointing me to this thread again Currently preparing the updated files for Juergen. If he accepts all the updates I made the mod will look something like this: I'm curious if anyone is able to spot all those larger and smaller updates
Ah! Was to late to add my changes Anyhow thank you very much Juergen for your update! Will send you my files this weekend. Sorry for causing any inconvenience
Wonderful and thanks! Such a fun car. Is there a trick to get AWD? When I select that drivetrain, I still get RWD.
