The external sounds rock! Force feedback is very weak and "muddy", no matter which of the settings you choose (125%, 250%, Real Feel etc.)
I just check, two secs. Edit: Caster does change the ffb quite a lot actually. Note that the default is steering lock is also very low for some reason.
This conversion has my full blessing, for anyone who was concerned. Source materials were provided to the folks working on the CART Factor mod when I was asked if they minded my INDYCAR mods being converted. Templates, fully layered liveries used to create the DDS, etc. are all available upon request.
Tested last night, after some tweaks on the FFB I had great fun driving these beasts! Great Mod. A big thank you to all involved on this project, great work, guys! Cheers
Thanks for the conversion, I have a question. Can the default FOV be decreased? The wheel is very far away and tiny despite cranking as far forward as I can go at FOV 34. One piece of feedback is about the liveries, instead of having one separate AI per livery, please have the main one as the standard with the alternate as options in the team folder.
Not tested the mod, but you can change your FOV in game (change from default to the one you like), it will solve the issue I suppose.
I know I can change the FOV but it will mess up the rest of the game for one mod. At 34-35 the steering wheel matches mine in size, pretty much regardless of content. With 2010 IZOD, it's maybe 50%.
Why mess up, because when you put the FOV in game, you get the same in all the other cars (the same), so if forcing FOV works on one car, it will work well on all the cars? Or I missed something?
I play at 2560x1440 so it's even more glaring than here. FOV is 35, with DW12 I actually go up in height but don't go forward too much but that's the worst offender of the stock ones. View attachment 16212
Similar issue with FOV and seat position . also in car engine volume quite low needing to change game sound balance . Great to get back in these again though.
