Although they look kind of impressive, apparently they were not very successful in real life.

In sim they will come with an appropriate weight and drag penalty that will probably negate most of their HP advantage.

The car looks 10 times cooler and 2 times faster with these "things". :D Definitely a keeper.

Thanks guys, getting closer but not quite done yet.

Adjusted body material and spec/reflect maps inspired by what I'm calling the "Tosch Method" ;) as found in the latest Apex GT3 release.

Thanks to Tosch/Apex for contributing it to the community.

    Excellent job! :D

The undershadow needs a bit finetuning (Pic 2, rear tire). For the Apex mod I added some rectangles to the texture and tried to place them under the tires. Needed some attempts to find the right position. They shouldn't be to wide, otherwise they cut through the tires when you look from the side.

Here is my psd file for the alpha channel of the undershadow.

That`s really looking fantastic CrossPly... car looks like it`s floating a little bit in pic 2. Just thought I`d say.

Excellent stuff though, the "Tosch Method" is definitely working a treat. :)
