Just out of curiosity (really, not trying to be rude or anything, just a honest question): Why would you want to use B660?
Thanks Something strange happened when I tried to install it though... Tried to uninstall old version first but had to uninstall a mod using it first. Did so, and then uninstalled. Then I installed latest 1.35 version and started rf2 and saw that I still had the 1.14 in menu. Closed rf2 and looked in the mod manager again to discover that Silverstone 1.14 and the mod using it was installed again. Had to uninstall it twice to make it go away but now it's working fine.
Thanks for this Update. Would a Changelog available? Many thanks for the direct link, this is proper customer support ;-)
I believe this is a bug in the mod manager that came with build 906. I often times have to click on the Delete button several times to uninstall some mods, and some times they are not uninstalled, no matter how many times I click on Delete.
Delete doesn't uninstall, and never has. It only deletes the package from your 'Packages' folder, just like you would when deleting the package using windows explorer. You need to click 'uninstall' in modmanager to remove something from your rF2 installation.
Yes it doesn't work like it used to. After clicking on delete, close mod manager and launcher, then open mod manager again. Then you'll see it has been deleted. You are correct though, it is a bug that wasn't there before.
Delete has never uninstalled mods, it deleted the files. Uninstall always uninstalled a mod. Would refresh not do the same thing as the closing/opening?
You would think but refresh doesn't seem to work either. Yes, I meant after clicking on uninstall, which works just fine, then clicking on delete is when I will get this issue.
Hopefully the severe jaggies in the pit area (fences and railing mostly) will be resolved with some overall texture/shadow/transparency/graphics update (they also plague other tracks, like Portugal). All the shimmering and "crawling" is very distracting--and I am using super sampling! AI fix is great, though long overdue. And the extra layout is a great addition.
Thanks, especially for National. Looks good and drives great. Though the AI are a bit poor on the National layout, especially braking too much at Copse. Not often I find myself able to take 3 cars on the outside of a corner with ease. Was nice, but suspect it's not because I became some uber driver overnight.
