+1 on the washed out and whitish film--but replays look OK and do not seem to have this issue.

If your system needs to be [re]activated, you will be prompted to do so.

Did not see an unstable version for us - so it seems bugs slipped through..... (the one with the widescreen problem should have been detected even I found it right away....and the milky image quality hm?)..waiting for xmas maybe a fix or other surprise

First of all i'm a bit disapointed that further contact patch improvements didn't make it into this build. Which means IMO no Stock-Car's very soon.
About the gamma balancing, i think what we see here is one of the drawbacks of High-Dynamic-Range (HDR), where bright screen sections are (tendentially) shown brighter, and darker sections darker than normal. I'm not a big fan of these artificial effects, they might be nice to watch for a short time. But in long term i prefer screen rendering as realistic as possible.

    Bug/s i found:
    - With every click on "Apply" under "Settings->Video res" (Ingame Menu), aspect ratio changes to 4:3 and "WidescreenUI" to "0" in the Config file.

No problems with temporary dark screen, or black mirrors found (tried Houston, C6) so far.

With which car/s you guys have this black-mirror problem?

Is there a workaround to the Black Mirrors in HDR issue? fresh install perhaps? I'm dubious to upgrade if there is none though, 880 is working just fine for me.

  8. It appears that race rejoin is broken. Race button is greyed out when rejoining a race :(
Other than that - great job, was just about to switch to newest build - unless i miss something in the rejoin procedure which works in .798

If you turn HDR off to get the mirrors working the heat fx bubble appears which hasn't been fixed and looks woeful

After I tried switching HDR on again, after having it off, I got the 4:3 aspect weirdness. What's even weirder? WidescreenUI is still "1" in the config file. I can't seem to do anything about this issue.

    Edit:
I'm a noob lol... the config file in the userdata folder of course.
    Never mind. ;)

    hi

nice to see a new build, has anyone discovered anything that shows a step up/forward or is it just a matter of some shaders been adjusted again ??

I agree not at all with you; there was no problem before the build 880

New launcher is a nice step forward of course!

First section with news and further links to Web.
Second one is the most interesting IMO, especially for new customers, they can very easily check and download/install missing ISI-content now.
Fourth to Six Icon's could have been a little more "raised" compared to the others, because they lead directly to game start.

Just watched some replay's, meanwhile i don't think the scenery (around High noon) look's to bright. We have to keep in mind, we are sitting in a dark room and looking in a (artificial of course) world witch get's lighted by sun.
So what we see on the screen must be very bright, compared to the scenery in our room.
Of course still not perfect, for example some of the shaddow sections are to dark, and some of the curbs, but overall i see a step in the right direction.

    btw:
I tried to rejoin races from replay without any problem.
Still no problem with mirrors or temporary dark screen found.
