Awesome track guys. The bumps and surface are fantastic, they feel really good under braking. Only thing I think it needs more of is braking markers
The Tiger Moth is a free download from Ant's Airplanes (http://www.antsairplanes.com/) for Flight Simulator X
That's it! The biggest graphical improvement I've seen so far. You have nailed the material settings for all materials (except for the grass because of the shader bug). Brilliant!
I was not like much the first version that came out as Dunsdolf track. It was ok, but not my cup of tea But this one, specially the longest layout is just fabulouse to drive, so fluid. Is perfect for fastest cars and of course for historic powerful oldies. There are problem with one or two corners, in one cars just stops like there are some invisible obstacle on the road and some cars start lifting in tight S corner which causing mass collision. Probably some road surface problem which will be corrected i am sure. Very good track and its layouts for online racing. Good job.
looks great, cant wait to try it out (im still away in asia at the mo) 3 configs+2 test tracks (i assume all actual real world based layouts ) is a great addition, good to get multi config options the big strippy blocks look good too
R1 with F3 , 117% ai and 50% agro I could barely stay with them rubberizing track for online, never saw a crash looked neat enough to me.
Aren't the race layouts fictional? I seem to remember Tim mentioned that in the preview video. No matter what this is an awesome release. Can't wait to get home from work to try it out! Sendt fra min LG-E400 med Tapatalk2
Yes and no. They do loads of events in there (test drives, historic parades, private races etc etc), designing courses with barriers, cones etc, using part of the TT layout and parts from the outer airport ring so, yeah, it is not a set of official layouts but we believe it's not crucial.
but the actual base track layout (bends/straight etc without cones or barriers) are a decent replica of real world ? (I understand the various configs etc are positioning barriers etc to make various combinations from the actual track )
Tuttle fantastic! good work & a good move from ISI , looks brill on the vid & a great much needed addition to rf2 I look forward to spending time with it thanks
Wow. R1 is brutal with Spark F1 but I love it. R2 is my favorite. R3 is good too. Haven't tried TTs yet. R2 is just insanely fast, dangerous and fun. I'll have to do more testing but AI didn't handle R1 well at all especially in the chicane where they just pile up. I have AI limiter = 0 ; AI mistakes =0 ; auto line smooth = 0
Hi Guys, when you're on List View for tracks, do you have all 4 layouts under the same name? Mine is split in 2, I have first 2 layouts together, some other tracks, and then the last 2 layouts together. I already had this problem with another mod...which one? mmm I can't recall, I think it was a car mod, not sure. I'll post a screenshot when I'll be at home. In any case, thanks ISI for this great job, it's really a nice and good track, road texture, graphically and on bump side, are perfect, I love all small details, e.g. the fact wall are not perfectly aligned, scratched paint, etc. really realistic Thanks a bunch !
