Looks like another poor conversion track of rF1 quality. You can see track is very bumpy due to low-res mesh. To me these tracks are undrivable, modders really need to increase mesh density for rF2 tracks.
As far as I know there's another conversion coming, a far better one. Don't think it's a legal conversion though so not sure if I can give out info on it on this forum. Sendt fra min LG-E400 med Tapatalk2
Yes, a version was released yesterday You can get it by the usual means. No link will be provided. Enjoy!
80% of people come to Kyalami spit the dummy in a few laps. hehehe " Oh its too hard and looks crappy ! " lol This all in a few minutes............. Proves no use listening to the majority opinion.
There's a difference between a track being bumpy made on purpose (for example Silverstone 1.14 has bumps based on real data) or just bumpy because of poor modding effort, which I see in around 90% of "modded" tracks from rF1 to rF2 or rF1 to AC. These tracks are nothing but quick conversions, discouraging anyone to do a proper version of the track up to rF2 standards. The rF1 mesh recommendation was roughly 500 tris per track, AC and especially rF2 needs much much more with its high-res physics computations.
This version is possibly the best out there that I know of... good animated workers. Good real road and deffinately far less bumpy than the others. Packaged with the Indy layout too.
I think the biggest difference is our wheels / settings choices. Mostly at least from comments I get about " bumpy" on lo-res tracks it is from G27 owners. ? I have Fanatec Carrera and Turbo ( 1 gear, 1 belt ) I used in rF2 and I would call all bad terrain good and Spa sublime. lol I mean I am aware of the splines but it is so subtle it does not impact on the immersion or laptimes for me. and I tell you my Carrera is all but broken, bent, rattles but with decent FF levels ( for a F3 ) all these Tracks including Nords75 feel cool. From first build Frans lapped Kyalami and Jarama with me a lot and he had a CSW ( .1 or .2 diff I think ) I know at least one guy liked Kyalami with a TRS and was fast. Best if your wheel and settings don't agree with these tracks just stay clear or go change your wheel.
Big difference from bumps that are supposed to be there and bumps from a poorly converted track. Personally I think those quickly and poorly made conversions are horrible and ugly and arent' even worth the time to DL, but that's just my opinion.
This is most definitely NOT the track I was talking about. I don't know why you linked that crappy version.
