yes, just have...so now it is just in core. That works, except the fix that made the plugins work in last build now dosnt work anymore - you just cant win
So far so good. This is first build I have been able to load Neva Ring with 29 AI and reflections without crashing or wet reflections even though dry. One thing I did notice which may be known or just Neva Ring track is AI seem to be driving in holes or very compressed tires like this...
It shouldn't be in core, either. Have you tried removing it? No, unfortunately you can't when it comes to third party stuff. I'm not sure why the file would have to be local to a plugin rather than referenced from the library, perhaps someone more technical could answer that.
I tried it too... Pressed "Race", the UI closed, reopened (the old looking one comes up, yet restyled) but crashed... "rFactor 2 stopped working"... EDIT: It creates vmod(s) but fails to like load it... I can select the vmod(s) created in the process in the dropdown menu in the old dedic exe EDIT2: The vehicle filter isn't the ones I specifically selected, same with the tracks, not my specific selection... No I has chunked in all the stuff I had installed... EDIT3: I substituted the multiplayer.json with my 798-one... Will try a 'new' one now...
ok thanks. I removed it from core and everything works as it should, except the plugin (we just talking about trackmap here, the others i have still work, but then its trackmap that makes it fun for me, prefering hotlapping to racing - sacrilege I know)
Well I know other people have it working. I would try posting in the plugin thread and check what others are doing.
TrackIR does not work for me in 64 bit. It does still work in 32 bit. I copied the TrackIR_rF2_Plugin_x64.dll (dated 9/19/2014) file from the bin64 folder to my plugins folder (the file there was dated 7/6/2014) and it still does not work.
Seems ok for me, just set 3 race events, clicked race, the UI closed and the dedi thing opened.. waited a few seconds, it went "live" and I was able to join, with no problems. I did notice that the Options button in the dedi UI wouldn't work though, maybe that's by design, or not implemented yet? If it makes any difference, I've done a separate fresh install for this build, as I need to keep 798 to race with the league I'm in, whose server is on MS2003.. or something like that. EDIT: Because it's a separate install, I have the core and data folders together, just on C:\ Drive, not in Program Files & Documents.
Works now launching it with the launcher rather than directly from the install folder (I set up a shortcut to it, as I do with my other servers). Issue though, it crashes after 15 seconds with Liveracers installed. I removed liveracers and now my Pickup server seems to be working fine.....
Mine still doesn't work, 798 or new multi.json file or not... I fear it's the character-discrimination again! Ø-is naht supported by ISI. Might come around to install and test on another Windows user-account...
This I haven't experienced before... "HTTP Server Port":64297, "HTTP Server Port#":"range is 1025 - 65535. Used for file sharing", (...) "Simulation Port":54297, "Simulation Port#":"range is 1025 - 65535", Why?! Fresh install... Fresh multi.json
If you would ask me I would say the answer is in your post. Fresh install...= new dedicated server ui + new json = new message
ok. I've made my update with the launcher update will look tomorrow if I got the same message like you. If not, maybe this is the reason Fresh install...= new dedicated server ui + new json = new message
What message?! I have a fresh install (content build) Using both old and new dedicated... json file came with the 860 content install after the first launch... Why should it create a problem? Everything is new... And servers are running online... Reinstalling - damn it
http://abload.de/img/ensure1rkal.jpg all I can say ATM you are the (first here in the forum) and I think only who experienced this problem. So a logical conclusion would be it has to do with your install procedure. The message http://abload.de/img/ensure1rkal.jpg could also be a info message on the first install. Yes you are right no need when starting any other then a dedicated server.
Another fresh install didn't work either... God ****ing damn it! Doing exactly the same thing I've done when installing 660, 770, 798 - even further back...
hm yes it could also be unintended but until I've did the test on my system I can't say more would be interesting if this happen to more users .
