Hello guys! You know our big friend Prunn who make great widgets for rfDynHUD by CDTP.

Some days ago, he released full widgets pack for rFactor 2. Yes, you can delete TrackMap and install more friendly rfDynHUD.

Version 1.600 works only for 32-bit!

    Required to install

    -java 32 bits: https://www.java.com/
-rfdynhud latest (follow instructions for rf2 installation): https://github.com/CTDP/rfDynHUD/releases (need version 1.4.1)
-full widget pack by Prunn: https://www.mediafire.com/?6qat7hp4ze18ddq (without yellow flags on timer) or https://www.mediafire.com/?ndmmrr9csr4kney (with yellow flag on timer).

    Install

    1. From arhive rfdynhud-v1.4.1-2014-08-10.zip copy and paste folder rfDynHUD and file rfdynhud4rf2_32bit.dll into rF2 folder C:\rF2\Bin32\Plugins\* here
    2. From arhive Prunn_WidgetSet_ALL_v1600_rf2_no_yellows copy and replace folder Bin32 into rF2 folder C:\rF2\* here.
    3. Open file C:\rF2\Bin32\Plugins\rfDynHUD\editor\rfdynhud_editor.exe and setup personal widgets.
    4. Launch rFactor 2 Launcher, go to tab "Advanced" and set there option "Use 32 bit executables on 64 bit capable operating system".
    5. Return in tab Simulate. Launch game. Enjoy rfDynHUD!

I don't think an x64 version would be too complicated to do
-needs an x64 system to compile the dll
-make sure the program is not flagged as x86 in visual studio
-point to the right path for java x64 in the code
but of course it's never that easy, especially with rf2

Thank you for answer Prunn! Modern way for our community - it 64 bit version rFactor 2. Is there any chance that you will release a version 64 bit?

And also would like to know whether there is a guide somewhere on creating widgets for rFDynHUD? For example, a widget is not enough to weather conditions. And also I would like to see more advanced TyreLockWidjet, in plugin TrackMap 0.94. :)

    Cheers,
    DA.

Thank you all CTDP, prunn & DA!
IMHO this is the best plugin for rF and probably it will be for rF2 too.
Downloading now while waiting for a 64bit version.

Version 1.600 works only for 32-bit!

    How do instructions change this?

Some of us are not willing to trade the entire 64-bit benefit for a plug-in, even if it is as great as this one.

Well Dear Watson you would be wrong because I followed the step by step instructions and it led to getting an error message every time I tried to launch the game

Ok it's working now. The trackmap.dll was causing the trouble. Renamed it and all went fine.

    Widgets too big

I have this running on triple screen 5760 x 1080- but widgets are three times too big. Have selected 5760 x 1080 screenshot in editor but still problem is there. Have noticed in log file rfdynhud there is a line

Creating RFDynHUD instance Version 1.4.1-Beta (build 121)...
    Detected game "rFactor2" (supported).
Creating overlay texture interface for resolution 0x0... done.
    Loading GameEventsPlugins...
    Found plugin "net.ctdp.rfdynhud.plugins.datasender.DataSenderPlugin".
    Found plugin "net.ctdp.rfdynhud.plugins.director.DirectorPlugin".
    Found plugin "net.ctdp.rfdynhud.plugins.simulation.SimulationRecorderPlugin".

showing resolution at 0x0, could this be the problem and how do I fix it. Noticed in rf1 log that this line says 5760x1080

    Many Thanks for help
