There are lot of nice ovals around, not just the ones being used in the upper series. It’s so tempting to try to bring some more grassroots content instead of what’s more well-known. For one thing, they cost less to license and get access to survey! DO IT!!!!! Great piece guys, enjoyed it.
Gjon: There are other oval tracks being developed by a private resource with our help. Our intent is when Stock Car 2014 is released, there should be multiple tracks available for stock car fans to drive. Really glad to see this direction being pursued. It's the content that will save rF2 at the end of the day. Too few of us are super hardcore sim fanatics to provide enough revenue to make this thing a success. Great content will attract the masses, some of whom will get converted once they realize the depth of what's underneath the candy coating.
Yeah, great to read this interview! Very intersting and things are moving in the right direction for me Just one thing, "weather engine is not a priority" . But maybe Tim and Gjon can help me. Does it just concern the weather "engine"? (so as i understand, weather setup rain, overcast, sunny, etc... ) or does it seems that the whole weather engine will not be in priority? I'm so frustarted to not been able to race a rainy day because of the lack of visual effects (raindrops,etc.. ), optimisation of ai pit strategies, and so on. The developpement of a "random weather engine" is not as important for me than the rest Thanks for the answer and sorry for my english
nice timing, sitting around in heathrow airport awaiting flight in few hours, this and simpits alien interview will keep me going (-: thanks
Obviously ones a road car but is the nsx R a race car version or just a beefed up version of the road car?
Ps: just to note, the title says "interview Gjon Camaj and Tim Weathley". But all the answer are named Gjon. Did you take a coffee Tim? Or talking with the young secretary during this interview? ? lollll ))
enjoyed reading it, thanks to simHQmotorsports & Gjon / Tim for taking time to do it, it's good to get a dev report style info now and again
Really? I was thinking it was something along the lines of rf2 system complexity VS system requeriments VS lack of users VS no crack.
We were recently asked about the rFactor Jacksonville track being converted to Assetto Corsa, we said yes. View attachment 14267
Nice and informative interview, good questions, answers giving insight, many thx to Gjon, Tim and Doug! Care if i translate it into german (for league members)?
*sigh* and there is everyone talking about the interview, and one has to spoil it. Post in some tech threads and get the problem solved perhaps? See peeps....manners cost nothing! ^^^ oooo baby!!!!
This would appear to be an off topic response. Your only post I saw was it crashing on exit. Are you talking about a different issue where you're now unable to use the product at all before that crash happens? Or was the description given about your CTD incorrect about when it happened? In either case, please update your thread with accurate information, and please be aware that also we may not respond (especially if a post says that it happens on exit, which doesn't otherwise affect usage - like your post said when I saw it) and/or visit the forums. You could also try contacting support. The forum entry page does state quite clearly that you can do this, and does also state quite clearly about staff visitation. http://imagespaceinc.com/forums/
