It's going to be a crappy, rainy day tomorrow...perfect time for a new rF2 update ;)

Seriously...is 846 still en route or did they go back to the drawing board?

I have a sneaky feeling that although there is some nice little fixes here & there, there'll be not much new/exciting upgrades
    maybe due to holiday period?

unless the release is a surprise number 852 including some nice things

Any day would be perfect for an update! But some crappy bug crept in from seemingly nowhere to ruin the day.

I have the complete opposite feeling, in fact I am more excited about the next build than possibly any other build (definitely in the top 3, for me).

Intrested people should test the unstable, really cool. I'm not allowed to talk about but I feel much better in the cockpit, recently with 350z on Palm Beach, looks good, drives well, h..d motion seems different, everything more realistic,........etc. and i've already talked too much.

Uhm, you're allowed to talk about unstable builds. Just don't give out any direct link downloads. Send them to the dev corner so they can read the "disclaimer" so to speak before they wish to download.

Question for those who don't test (read me) would be: what could be the bug Gjon was talking about. And better how long will it take ISI to "unbug" and release.
I know i could try and test for myself, but i am afraid i will mess up my computer being to much noob in fiddling around and Tim once said it should be done only if you are secure enough to don't........

But ohw my you guys really make me more exited with saying the unstable feels much more realistic...........i want it tooooooo

That's one reason why i originally wanted to and shouldn't talk about in this area. Subjective perception can steer people in the wrong direction or cause false expectations. Sorry !

Why do not try them yourself, it is very simple and the easiest way is to use an external drive, install it there. Before doing that put the shortcut of the stable version in the taskbar to ensure the unstable installation routin doesn't overwrite it when it creates one for the unstable, rename the shortcut after installation as unstable and everything is fine.

Now you have two shortcuts, one for the stable in the taskbar and one for the unstable on the desktop. Where you like to put which later, is up to you. I use a central package folder which is also installed on the extern drive, you need only specify the folder in the launcher of the unstable where ever your packages folders is and install what you want to test, even the activation is done via the standard installation under windows of the given stable version, but you will not need because it only makes sense for online use.
