love the seating position on the Bob Earl, so low and laydown style, like a real racecar position

The keyboard is from late eighties, it's my first and I got it used. Among a thousand things I do even the programmer, so I write a lot, to date there is no problem with it.
(I'm also developing some software for rf, for data analysis, and for lap comparison based on replay data, but it's OT).

I don't have measured the angle, I set the axis of lateral monitor direct to my eyes.
I've calculated the fov with the classic triangle formula and in my case is 37°.
I built a couple of months ago (still WIP), compared to the desktop rig I had before, it is a great driving experience :)

Nope. They'll have to release a 64bit plugin.

Nice setup. Looks like seatmover from gekosystems (gs-105)?! Would you recommend it?

Thanks, the motion from the GS-105 chair really adds immersion and doubles up as a nice comfy office chair by day.

Had a blast in the GTR tonight... got thrown about quite a bit around Mid Ohio.

Thanks, camera is mounted on my forehead ;) Eye level is 3~4 cm lower.

Once I get the Fanatec kit, I will have to make another screen surface to get rid of the gaps (you can see the current gap at the top of the dash from when I moved the screen further back by 6"), I'm going to get it as flush to the CSW base as possible, if not behind it... depending on ergonomics. I'm loathed to do anything to improve it before then.

If you get motion sickness like me, have a knackered neck from a car accident and have little room to race in, then it's ideal as it only applies small movements to your upper torso. Seriously though, even if you have a neck of an Ox and a stomach of iron, and loads of space, I'd still recommend it!. The guys at Geko are fantastic and the software is so configurable, but I've never actually had to change a thing as there are so many profiles, I just find one that suits the car/sim/game... you can change or tweak profiles mid race too, so it's fantastic.

The seat itself takes a few laps to get used to and a few sessions for it to feel 'normal'. I tried racing without the motion enabled on the seat as I was missing rF2 (there is no 64 bit profile for rF2 - it's coming though), but could not handle the numbness, so set up for 32 bit ...

I've had a few 'Simmers' round from other forums and all have said that when they return home after an hour or so session, that the racing feels lifeless without it on their rigs.

    Here's mine

Semi-cockpit made of steel profiles, holding wheel and pedals:

It also provides the main support for the table:

The seat (from Alfa 156 :) ) has it's own wooden support, which is then connected using ladder-type wooden element to the main steel semi-cockpit.
Here's how it looks when racing (OMP rim is temporarily swapped for original T500RS rim):

The wooden part of the cockpit is connected with the main steel semi-cockpit only when I'm racing. Otherwise, I put it aside, monitors are put towards rear wall and I am using more typical office chair when using my PC everyday.
