My only doubt is whether something new will come out later this year. Only this. I'm not talking about things that have already been launched.

My guess is we'll have the Nascar-wannabe car and an oval track.

All of that is already out.

I wish they'd finish the Indycar first. Then, maybe NASCAR.

    +1

I think that would be good move whenever it happens get some mods going in that direction skin packs etc. ..........nice

Obviously I Historic bias the Cobra and Eagle come to mind ( I still think rF2 Cobra will put "other" versions into perspective hehehe )

But I fair, modern content has to outweigh the old by a decent ratio so I happy to sit back and not stress it.

Personally I am not keen on too much info or WIPS, when it happens it'll happen, if it happens at all. ;)
I rather the surprise then anticipation :)

Mmm, yeah I'm always torn between the two hahahaha XD

Fun to have a bit of excitement and anticipation/build up, but then a sudden surprise can be just as awesome.

In my opinion, they should rather focus on getting the game fixed regarding the bugs that creeped in with the 64 bit releases, as well as making the mod system easier and more efficient.

The current content is more than satisfactory at the moment.

A bit of marketing and an effort to release rFactor 2 on Steam wouldn't go amiss either, since other sims' current exposure will be the death of this game, which would be so sad for a game so promising.

The community is pampered with DLCs. The released contents havent been fully utilised yet.

You have got a team of people, there are content makers, artists and implementers, and there are also programmers who work on the core of the game. Developing the code is very very complex thing and goes slowly, that is why rF2 is now undergoing so many changes now, to ease the process up in future.

Not sure what your point is? Most games are complex, but many fix issues a lot faster than ISI.

I know they're a small team, but you don't sell products by making excuses, but rather by making the product as finished as possible.

It was reaction to your "focus on getting bugs fixed" instead of making new content. But content makers cannot focus on fixing any bugs except errors in art assets and implementation

Programmers and core engineers don't work on the 3D models...track artists don't work on the core engine or systems. They are two different areas, same with all games being made, don't confuse the two when it comes to development progress.

I have absolutely zero issues with the 64-bit exe, maybe you can be more specific about these bugs you mention. Since the last build most things work smoothly, even driver switching is finally stable it seems, so long endurance events are finally possible.

There is so much good content released this year, it's a crying shame how quickly it become forgotten. For example Karts, they are fantastic in my view, but after the first couple of weeks I see no servers with people racing them anymore. There is so much content to be explored in rF2 already, I haven't even gotten to basics of understanding all cars.
