Well, I have a problem that you see in the image below, for a number of builds, clean install or not does not matter, same thing anyway.
Has been in the config file and changed to the right but it does not help.
Perhaps you could help me with this.

    Com spec.

Yes, I've done it before and did it now and everything looks as it should.

Is your VRAM reported correctly if you run dxdiag.exe (from the "Win+R" Run... box)?

Many programs, even dxdiag, report the VRAM wrong. Doesn't usually cause any issues but I would guess you are unlucky in that when it got yours wrong it came out very low and triggered an alert in rF2.

What happens if you click 'continue anyway" ? Does the game run?

Yes, there is no problem at all with the program, it was not clear from me sorry for that.

One more thing I remembered. Are you running the 64-bit rF2? IIRC, the libraries that the sim uses to query system data doesn't work perfectly in 64-bit and sometimes report weird system information.

64 or 32-bit does not matter, this has been a long time.

    same thing for me here.

I am running a iMac with Bootcamp.. maybe it is relevant ?

the game run fine, don't know if it has an impact on performance...

And this message appeared since build 134 and I guess it has something to do with that in the release note:

but, probably that before the message was not displayed but the reported vRam was still wrong.

Yep, this 256 error has happened for my iMac since early builds. I've reported it but no resolution as yet so I figure it's just a Win7 anomaly. I just click "Continue" and away we go. Doesn't seem to effect performance that I've noticed.
