Hello, I've got an error when creating a vmod, When I click Package, I have the following message box : Packaging Status Error computing mod sig Any idea ?
What kind of trials did you perform? If you are trying all the times the same thing, it is normal that you get the same result every time. Did you try different cars and tracks to see if it makes any difference?
I made some new test yesterday. Tested again with changing some information, and no change, same error. I tried to make another issue of a previous generated vmod for Online, and same issue, impossible to make the package. So with a new mod or an old mod I can't generate the vmod file to host races online, I'm blocked and can't race online now Any idea????? Where I can check an error file log to see what could be the error?
Are you experienced with creating vmods? If you pm with the components you would like to use I can try to do it to see if it is your problem or something related to components.
Yes I do vmod since the start of rF2. I try to make a vmod for the Nissan 370Z GT4 ISI (no change on it) and some track installed on my PC, mainly ISI ones. Just to test the car online on my league. I will test tonight to remove the tracks and test with only one track, to see if it's linked to tracks. What is worring me, it's the edition of my two weeks old working vmod to make a new version, and I get same issue when I press the packaging button. Is there a change since B798 to know?
I understand mas2.exe has not changed in latest build but I need to check. Just in case I tell you that I always copy mas2.exe and modmgr.exe in each new installation's root folder.
Mas2.exe is v2.92f unchanged since B770. B660 used 2.92c and B382 v2.91t. I just created a vmod without problems. There also many servers online so people are not getting problems with it. Some basic questions you probably have OK. Just in case... Is mas2.exe working dir correct? it appears at the bottom of the screen. Is there anything odd in the info window? Have you tried replacing mas2.exe with other builds mas2.exe? If you typically update, make a clean installation with an older build to see if it works. I don't know what else to say. Your mas2.exe seems corrupt.
Mas is working, the path is on Support\Tools\ as expected. I found my problem, I added track one by one, and the LeMans VLM blocked me, It was installed, but I uninstall/install and try again to add the track and working now. I don't know how this happen, but that was the reason. So It's solved !!!!
Could it be that you had a different version of the track installed than the version in the .rfcmp file in the packages folder? I have had that cause really weird problems in the past.
I uninstalled/installed again the concerned track, so I don't know, but I think it was the problem, I think I copied it from previous build without installing it with ModManger to save some time between two old build.
You can, but it's not very intuitive... Click "Edit post", and then click "Edit post" again, when the text is editable. That will allow you to edit the subject and change the status too.
