Updated RF2 and works fine with updater Downloaded new Devmod build and installed. (all to default directories) The DEVMOD icon is greyed out... Played around for a while and noted that devmode executables are installed to the 32/64 bit directory in my data path location. Copied these then to the Core folder default location 32 bit to bin 32, 64 bit version to bin64 Now the Devmod icon lights up... <happy days> Clicking on it however it then throws up a requestor saying --- FAILED TO LAUNCH MOD DEVELOPMENT TOOL Ensure that RFactor2 Mod Mode 32bit.exe is located in the Core and this application is in the root of the install directory. --- Copying it to either Core folder doesnt work (albeit i noted the new version of devmod doesnt have 32bit - 64 bit filenames. (Its just called "RFactor2 Mod Mode.exe"). Any thoughts ? anyone having this issue ?
As an addition - Default Core install C:\Program Files (x86)\rFactor2 Data Path F:\Users\Davids\Documents\rFactor2 The Devmod installer identifies these fine and installs without problem. I also tried Renaming these these file to add 32bit on the end as the requestor indicated it (both 32 bit and 64 bit version in the core folder, but still fails to load).
Thanks. Will pass this on now and hopefully get info on what you should be doing for this. Sent using Tapatalk
