Sderenno, may I ask a technical question? These cars are based on the ISI Indycar, which has a serious flaw in terms of lack of throttle response (discussed lots elsewhere, so I won't repeat here). Because the throttle is OK in neutral, it must have something to do with a setting that affects the engine when in gear. The Indycar drives as if there is a giant flywheel attached to the engine that prevents rapid rpm change or power application. It is dampened by this flywheel effect, but only when a gear is engaged. Your cars have corrected this flaw and throttle application while in gear causes a much more expected response (for example, you can hang the tail out in 2nd gear easily on a tight corner). I would say it's not quite as sharp a response as realistic, but that's not the point here. Could you tell what physics adjustments were made related to this issue? If we can know what they are/or it is, then it will also be possible to do a quick mod of the Indycar to make it "normal" while we wait for who knows how long for ISI to fix it. I feel that the ISI Indycar is extremely well done except for that one major issue. Your fantastic to drive mod cars seem to prove that point (as many have lauded them here so far). Any help or information would be very much appreciated! And thanks again for such a great mod. It will be great to have a full '92 varied collection eventually.
Hi Sderenno, could you take a look at this post, please? http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.p...m-(car-by-car)?p=293737&viewfull=1#post293737 I used other cars (F1RFT)with the same track and didn't have any problem. (I also raised the ride height to the maximum as a test and still had the issue.)
I've noticed also that, with all cars, when I load them up and drive out first time the driver arms are visible but if I pit and go out a second time, the arms disappear for the rest of the session
Oh man I got hurt so bad in the FW14 At the apex sudden oversteer. I dropped a wheel off. I corrected. It happened so fast. I was just a passenger. There was nothing anyone could have done Snapped back the other way and head on into the armco. My lawyers will be in touch. Seriously these cars are great. Look great, drive great, and fun too. Thank you. SW
Hello guys, we are working on strange defect of black pieces. The physics is similar to DW12, but not the engine, I think that in a future step we must increase the torque of the engine and try slightly different tires
I've just downloaded the V150 of Williams.. still not working (texture). I had the Williams demo previously installed (removed it before install the new cars)... I'm not sure if it could cause the issue. Here some pics... last one shows the driver's arms in external cockpit view. it's a cover version of Fleetwood Mac's The Chain. if you're in the UK (and presumably many other places) The Chain = F1.
