One of the best mods if not the best for rf2 right now!:D
You have done an incredible job and you continue so cant wait for other cars as well;)
The only thing that annoys me a little bit is the auto-blip.In reality in these cars you have to lift the gas and change gear here there isnt that and is a little bit weird..
BTW keep up the good work!!!

As far as I know, the teams of 1992 were pretty much split in terms of what kind transmission they used.
Some used semi-automatic but many still used manual transmissions as well, the Benetton B192 to name one.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. :)

I believe it was h-pattern and sequential back in these days, but both kinds of transmission shouldn't have auto-blip as far as I know... Would like to see the autu blip dissapear in one of the next versions.

Very nice mod btw! The sounds are mental :)
And just for my understanding, you guys plan to redo all of the 3D models? I saw a thread of you in the modding section with the "upgraded" Ferrari. Is this one already available? Sorry if it's a dumb question, but I'm a bit confused about that :)

So far absolute brilliant work, very much appreciated!

    Schedule of work:

    1) Conversion of the missing 5 cars (WIP 35%)
    2) Update all released 1.3 cars to 1.4 (done)
    3) Remake all skins texture without fictional shadows and include in 1.4 version, because rF2 generates shadows well (WIP 30%)

    4) Release all 92 cars in 1.4 version

    5) Work on new 3D parts for a future version

Ferrari had paddles as first movers in 89. Williams was next in 91.

It was first in 93, McLaren and a few others completely went away from H-pattern.
Puts Sennas win in Monaco into perspective with Mansell with a semi auto right behind him, while he was using three pedals and gated shifter.

There is a beautiful video of Schumacher from Monza 92, where you can see/hear him use the H-pattern and clutch. Going from 6th gear to 2nd, feeding in the clutch with the valves wanting to escape their guides :)

    EDIT: found it -
    From 25th to 3rd :)

That's right, they tested new gearbox and suspension towards the end of the season.

    re auto blip --

its my understanding this mod is for a league, so the cars are balanced, & don't necessarily adhere to their 1992 configurations, correct?

nothing against the modmaker, but the only reason ive been avoiding downloading these. they're meant more for league racing than to actually simulate the cars of the year...do different gearboxes etc come into play?

i have no idea what the league rules or concept is so idk if for example the autoblip is intentional or something that will be removed. and apologies ive misunderstood entirely.

LE or not they're a complete blast to drive.
It's so awesome to have a nearly complete F1 grid from the 90's. Wishes sometimes do come true. :)

Exactly, and hey, get all the models polished up, tyres sorted, and then start working car by car doing what can be done to make a historical version. That would be the awesomestness thing to happen
