I have the same issue. It's still possible to play if you alt-tab and click Accept, but obviously is a little annoying. EDIT: a fresh install seems to have fixed it.
I get exact same error and is very time consuming to do full re-install of all packages, tracks cars etc. I uninstall old 660 version and ran registry cleaner then reinstall new version and still get same error. Can play but I notice on Tourist Ring all the trees are missing and not get loaded - all display settings are as before on Full but still not loading and track looks bad without the trees and whatever other textures are not loading. Please ISI can take a look and solve this problem for us when you get the time ? Thanks, Cheers mark.
I also have the same error after installing the LITE Build of 770. Popup is behind loading screen.. alt tab.. click ok, go back into game. View attachment 13417 haven't tried a track yet, but i hope it doesn't mess them up (as reported above)..
I always uninstall thru windows uninstaller, there are always sub-folders not removed. I then go to rF2 folder and delete all sub-folders except packages folder. Then reinstall the lite version. you then just reinstall packages from the mod manager. Packages folder is never deleted. updating from "unstable build" by installing 770 lite version, I had the error. After doing procedure above, error solved. uninstalling never deletes the packages folder, and it leaves others. Always delete all sub-folders except packages folder when updating with fresh lite version. Just remember to reinstall in same folder. Main folder is still there ***Just to be safe you probably should delete the exe's in the main folder. They might not be overwritten with the new Lite version.

I installed the UI theme that borges mentioned and the "Blank Button" error went away. Happy camper now! Thanks borges.
go in installed\UIData and delete the folder rfactor2 UI\1.0d and fix the problem I used auto updater in my first install and work with no error. with lite install I got the error. comparing the installs I found the diference .just delete and test it's work I hope I have helped
I have different gear/revs meters downloaded from racedepartment ... going to try installing the minimalist HUD as mentioned above to see if that fixes ... thanks for the help / suggestions. And that whole shennanigans with uninstalling all the packages etc. I find to be a nightmare and takes me too long to sort through because once I install something I delete it from the packages folder as it is a waste of space. Thanks anyway but should not have to go through all that just to update.
Solved with reinstall of UI ... thanks The Ring Tourist still loads minus all the trees and runs with very low Frames. Previously with same settings I got 60 fps and now down to mid 30's
Thanks awesome.. that fixed it.. Is that an old standard ui then ? It definately loaded about 10x faster than it ever has too..
Does anyone else have the same problem at the Ring Tourist ( Nordschleiffe by Peclair v1.65beta ) no trees load ... I have uninstalled and reinstalled rFactor2 twice now and always same result ... something definately wrong here ! Anyone please test and tell me if they get similar / same result ? It is immediately noticeable as the trees and many other graphical objects around the track are distinctly missing and it looks terrible !
