    Hi all
    Since I bought and installed the rF2 I noticed that the spotter volume is so low that I could not hear it.
    Some colleagues have the same problem so it is not a question of PC or installatioin.
    Has anyone a hint to solve it?
    Regards

    Yes lower all other volumes in the audio menu and turn spotter up this should help.

    And reduce sounds to 32 sources. I can't hear him at 64.

    I'm surprised that ISI hasn't sorted this issue out yet. Has been there from the beginning.

    Doing what Paul says leaves the sound still low.

    I had spotter volume on one build way back when. If it weren't for that, I'd think the whole spotter thing was a myth.

    Try reducing number of sounds to 58, and then play with sound levels of the engine and sound effects if you still think it's too low.
    I always do this with new build, and always works;-)

    As far as I know, the spotter isn't doing much as of now, except for calling out laptimes. However, I've heard him warning of other cars on certain tracks, but not very accurate. Meaning, he's confusing the inside with outside and so on.
    Personally, I don't have much use for him at the moment.

    with the sound configuration posted by hector, spotter started to be heard a little, but i think is not enough. I think ISI should correct this issue

    Seems to me that spotter volume has something to do with the track, and some to do with your sound setting (stereo, 4.0, 5.1 etc.)
    I was on one track last week (didn't note which one) and he was quite loud. Not only the laptimes but also inside and outside comments.
    Back some time ago, there was a thread about spotter and people where taking the spotter file out of one folder and sticking it in another folder. Fixed it for some, and some not.

    music = 0
    sound effects = 45
    engine = 60
    tires = 120

    Theres a thread somewhere where the ISI team have already confirmed the spotter is not working properly. (Sounds mixer volumes or something) that they will get back to one day.
