We should list track where this great car don't match really well, just to save time (Saying that, I'll try at MSR13)
Really like it. Seems to have the hallmarks of a mod created by someone with enough understanding of engineering concepts and close familiarity with the car to do a proper job of it. I'm a little surprised by the claim that it's not meant to be an eye-candy mod because though maybe it isn't super-hi-def-next-gen-whatever commercial quality, it's still quite an attractive and detailed model and appears beautiful to my eyes. Well done. Thanks. No racing sim is really complete until it has a good MX-5 in there.
SpecMiata v1.1 change list: slightly improved graphics car camera improvements minor bug fixes 1008 degree wheel rotation option in tuning physics are identical
Hé hé, I'm downloading all 3 flavor right now and I'll be able to test those beasts tonight!, thanks PlickBadger!
Hey Plick, you checked out the new unstable build yet? (64bit) It's miffed your Miata's. What a bummer. Other 3rd party cars too, (and some of ISI's)
No not yet, but thanks for the heads up. I'll check it out this weekend. Not sure if I'll be able to tell or fix what's miffed up though
Plick, my bad, stuffed up my install....and I was enticed from general discussion threads to expect it. Your Miata is one of the few cars that I have no problems with, even in replay, where most of the problems reported are.
Yep, I know about it. I'm not convinced it's a mod issue though. I think this is an actual bug in the way the game is loading vehicle instances. Try this as a test. Start a practice session with 0 AI use the Add AI button to add as many as your machine can handle There should be no corrupt or missing parts.
This is a sick mod man! Really nice physics. I would definitely want to try this on street tyres and pull some drifts with it
This is an amazingly fun mod. Great fun, close racing. I've been having a lot of fun at Limerock (no chicanes and uphill chicane variants), had a really good race the other night. Probably could have had AI a bit harder as I was getting better/faster throughout the race so I ended up winning from 12th on the grid after going side-by-side down the inside of the leader on the last 2 corners of Limerock! Very fun. I hope you consider doing some more mods in the future, you're very talented
Drove it, liked it! I really dig the raw sounding engine ^^ I managed a 2:06 at Zolder, I believe proper racedrivers go under the two minute mark. In the first three corners, you can really feel the front tires scrubbing if you come in too hot, nice
