Thankyou so much for this awesome track gents! Not seen this track in any game/sim, since the TOCA Touring Car game for the Playstation. I've been having a riot, tearing round here in the ISI Civic and Plickbadger's Mazda MX5.

EDIT: And it's very nice to see this kind of collaboration happening and the kind of results that can be achieved when modders work together like this. Respect.

    Thank you pay.

Just a thought. How about editing this thread and moving the latest file links to your first post whilst including the latest version number in the tittle.

    Great track :)
Can someone please help with trying to set up a vmod for hosting?

Creating the vmod for 0.7 works fine, but now the track has update .71 I can't create one.

When selecting the track component I select Thruxton 0.71 and then get a mas error message when I click package.

The only way I can create one us to use 0.7 instead of 0.71

Am I doing something completely wrong?

Have the same problem with poznan since that was updated

    Thanks
    Andy

The update 0.71 is not needed for online racing. It just improves the AI for offline racing and is a test file that should be implemented in a later build of the track.

Just out of interest. What happens if you select both (0.7 and 0.71) versions? The 0.71 is not the complete track. There are only some upgrade files included and it needs 0.7 as a base component.

I get the same error message about duplicate mas or something like that.
I guess best option is to take out the update....question is will people on .71 be able to join a 0.7 server

Do you mean you dont get the problem when making the vmod, or you can connect to a 0.71 server?

The update doesn't change the original files. They are fully intact on your harddisk. An update just adds a new folder with the new version number to the locations directory with the new mas file included. Everybody should connect without problems to the server running the 0.7 version.

There is something about it that makes it very addictive and appealing. I bet it's a blast in your Miata! It is really fun in the old GT historics (rF1). Can't wait until HistoriX makes it to rF2!

Thruxton and Toban were always my go-to tracks to test a new vehicle in rF1.

Just had an epic race there with 21 other Miatas staring 18th and finishing 6th, witnessing a couple of spin offs, passing a couple of cars that overheated...it really was an epic race.

Deadpedal, could you be persuaded to update your first post? So that people won't have to dig their way through this topic to find post #28 and find the as-of-now latest version?
