Had this sitting on my hard drive for ages, almost since rF2 was released and as the BTCC is at Thruxton today I thought it was time to share. It's quite rough around the edges and the reflections are not set up at all but realroad seems to work and I think the track is ok to race. I have no idea if I will ever get around to doing any more to the track as it needs a lot of work to bring it up to current standards and I rarely get the free time any more, but anyone that wants to try it is welcome to. http://www.mediafire.com/download/f7s45fpz9068xuf/Thruxton.rar
Just watching it too, thanks for the track I have been tinkering with Bryce making some object models of some pit lanes, if they are any good and can be incorporated into track then I am happy to make them more detailed or make other buildings or objects to help out, if you want. http://www.sharecg.com/v/75338/gallery/5/3D-Model/Thruxton-Pit-Lane
excellent, thanks everso. Now, if only someone could bring Cadwell Park to rF2, and maybe Mallory - oh what fun that could be
Hi man Yeah I made the shapes in Bryce, sent them to Daz studio, to size and group together, put the textures on that looked as good as I could get it, then exported all objects as a new geometry shell object, with material grouped together names.
thank you so much a blast. Current Civic tourer was hitting on the limiter @ 160 mph as per Matt Neal q&a today. ISI Civic hitting 136/7, even with longer gearing going to be shy
Awesome, thanks LC. We have a lot of the BTCC tracks now and they are mostly nice. Brands (not a good version though) Donington (OK version) This Thruxton Croft (terrific) Snetterton (terrific) Silverstone National (ISI) Knockhill (bad version) No Rockingham at all though. we're almost there!
Cadwell, very bumpy though and narrow like the actual bike that's more suited to bikes. https://mega.co.nz/#!ugJiTKYK!5y3jfrwkPRIBq5JJCEAeANwqjswXrx9-zE-MFLAyUu4
