I am looking at your vmod and notice that you are missing GetMod URLs for a bunch of components. I also see you have GetMod enabled some content that probably shouldn't be automatically distributed.

Make sure you add URLs for all the components and then build a new vmod. Although you say you aren't even getting to the missing components screen so this probably isn't your problem. I was able to download your vmod with no problem. I'm really not sure why it's failing for you.

Toyota TS030 Hybrid
Toyota_TS030_Sound

 

Yes, i know. It was just to check whether it works or not. But after trying everything i opened a server without password. And there it is working. With Password it isnt working. Any ideas of a solution?

 

It should work with or without password. Are you hosting more than one server? Also, how do you have rF2 installed? Do you have a separate Core and DataPath or all in one location? If all in one location is it in a folder that doesn't require admin rights (for example not in Program Files)? It's still very odd that I was able to download your vmod perfectly fine.

 

If i remove the password everything is working. Just if i set a password it doesnt work.

Get mod will work after a lot of attempts. Or if you are lucky at first attempt.

Enter lines below in the rF2 launcher dedicated servers command line and click save parameters. And start your server again.

server 1==> +procmask=1 +highprio
==> try 1 server first. And check if it's working for you.
server 2==> +procmask=2 +highprio
server 3==> +procmask=4 +highprio
server 4==> +procmask=8 +highprio

This sets each server to 1 CPU core: 4 CPU cores = 4 servers.

The +highprio is not mandatory, but it helps with server stability.

 

He is only running a single server. The vmod downloads 100% of the time from Firefox/Chrome/IE. But 0% of the time from the game. I just spent some time on his server with TeamViewer and don't see anything odd about his setup. It should work fine.

I've laterally never had this problem on any of my servers. Even when hosting multiple dedi's on the same machine. And I never set the affinity or use +procmask.

yes. Used "server 1==> +procmask=1 +highprio " and it worked.

 

Your server was on Win7 I noticed, but what architecture? x86 or x64?

Just type in

+procmak=1 +highprio

The "server 1 ==>" Isn't needed.

 

hola noel gracias ,tengo todo subido solo no entiendo que despues de crear un Vmod(antes lo e subido y luego lo e vuelto a cear ) hasta hay todo ok!.haora que hago con el archivo vmod? como pueden descargarselo del servidor automaticamente? tengo ke pasarselo a ellos ?

This doesn't seem to be working anymore with build 946. I install a new car then open Get Mod Manager and create a new download path click ok but nothing happens?

Please help.

 

Must be a local issue mate as I have it working. I've not changed a thing.

Or I'm lucky.
