Sadly this plugin will not shown.

I had copied the *_x64.dll to bin64/plugin folder and *.dll to bin32/plugin of the game. Then I had copied the *.ini to both folders. The plugin option menu shows that the x64 bit dll of this plugin is activate, but sadly I don't see the plugin while I am racing.

    Can anyone help me out?

    Thank you.

    Hi Rio,

do you see the message "Delta Best Plugin enabled (v19/Nords)" in the bottom left corner of the screen when you enter the track (Click on Race)?
If you do see the message, the plugin is working correctly, just drive at least three laps.
If you don't see the message, then the plugin has not been activated.

Did you also copy the DeltaBest_Background.png file?

    Cheers,

    Hi,

i did not see "Delta Best Plugin enabled (v19/Nords)" message, but I had not copied the DeltaBest_Background.png. Could that the reason? then that would be my fault...

I am at work now and I can test at evening.v Thank you for fast replay :D

    grettings, rio

Please check out the readme file in the zip archive. It has all the instructions.

Here's version 20, which should work after driver swaps.
I sent this build to a few users for further testing, so if you want to give it a shot :)

Ok ist Looks like it is now working, but is it alright that the plugin counts further differences when I press pause in game? What are the dimension to put it direct under the middle mirror?

And my third question: how can I switch to that visualization of the YouTube video of the first entry within this thread? Where this should be shown:

    - current
    - sector 1
    - self split
    - best split

    Greetings rio.

Ah. That's interesting. I never tried pausing the simulation.

By default it is already under the middle mirror...

That is part of the HUD (info) that rF2 shows, not my plugin. The standard rFactor 2 style is another one though. You have to choose the "Arcade" OSD in the Options Menu.

I find it much better than the default.

If you don't have that info on screen, press '6' to bring it up and then you have to map a button to the LCD Mode key and try changing the mode a few times.

Ah ok thanks for the details. My first question was about the width and height dimension which I can enter in the ini file that it will fit exactly under the middle mirror, like it is shown in the YouTube video.

PS: yes I had define a special hotkey for a special LCD PAGE ;)

Does this work with the steam version? I don't seem to be able to get any evidence of it being enabled. I copied everything into the steam version of Bin64/plugins. I assume you don't have to run in windowed mode or anything like that.

I have never used this plugin before so I can't say I successfully used it with the non-steam version either (deleted non-steam version).

    Hey bazzalb,

I use the steam version too and it works fine. I have copied everything except the readme file to bin32/plugins and bin64/plugins folder. Then I had changed the *.example.ini to *.ini. you have to go to options ingame and take a look, whether it's shown here and if yes - check the active state. You can enable it here too. Next start a simple race test driving and take a look bottom left, whether a message will be shown that this plugin will loaded. Then drive at least 3 laps.

    Greetings, rio

Hey, thanks for the response :) I don't get any message to state it is active but as it turns out, on my 3rd lap, it shows up in the upper middle of the screen, so it was working after all LOL. Just was expecting to see something displayed straight away. Sorry about that ;)

    Cheers

Note that you don't need to do that.
It's just if you want to customize any of the settings.

you mean, it is shown inside the monitor view? I can not confirm from my side. The only thing i noticed, that the calc will not reset if i go back to monitor and back to race..
