[REL] Delta Best plugin for rFactor 2

I recently tried this plugin again, and all the problems I had with the time jumping around after an off-track excursion have disappeared. Thanks for your hard work!

Sure, just delete the DeltaBestBackground.png file and you are good to go.
I would suggest you keep it though, maybe you can modify the colour of that image to suit your needs.

 

Hi cosimo, thanks for the great plugin. I am using v18 and have strange issue.
Last view days i am testing with URD C7r at ISI Portugal GP layout. I had a high 1:35.9 as my best time. I always got the delta to this time. Then i left the server, came back a day later. The first timed lap i got the delta to my 1:35.9, i drove a 1:38.x as my first timed lap. After that lap i get the delta to my 1:38.x not the 1:35.9 anymore. Shouldn't it stay for the faster time until i beat that one?

I believe I now fixed this, but it needs more testing.
The new version of DeltaBest is almost ready.
I'm working on the following improvements/fixes:

• Fix the delta time position, now fixed by mistake. It will move along the colored bar.
• Fix occasional best lap loading/reset problems
• Make the plugin work during driver swaps

Agreed, first it is a bit strange driving without it, but in the other hand I like the pure "You are on your own" feeling as well

One small problem I noticed: If you restart a race, the plugin stops working. This might be related to the driver swap bug.

hi cosimo, i can not open v19 zip file. looks like a broken file?! downloaded twice.

 

Could be that I made a mistake while packing and it's a 7z file?

today i have updated from v18 to v19 and now there is a problem with it.
if i join a multiplayer session the plugin show´s up in the menu. if i click on race and press esc, the plugin is dont show´n again in the menu.
