    Can someone point out the ALT-m section in the ini file please?

    Mipmap LOD Bias="0.00000"

    frigging no idea what values we should use. will start with 1 and work my way up :)

    I got error with the auto updater:-
    Code:
    Installing C++ runtimes
    Sync did not complete. Could install C++ Runtimes
    Command line: 
     update core_path=D:/rFactor2 data_path=D:\rFactor2 origin_build=590 destination_build=660
    So me off to get the Lite download.

    Tim, could you give a short description of what the demo offers so I can advertise for it in our community? If I remember correctly the last demo was offline only, but basically complete single player features including AI, complete race weekend and all? Usage not timelimited?

    BTW, next time wait six more builds before releasing. 660 just isn't the same...

    If you have your plr right protected, or havent run rf2 yet, it may not be there yet.

    updater worked nice.

    Little question, if i use alt+m for once is it okay then and i don't have to do it never ever again????

    edit: game runs silk smooth till now, didn't try mp yet:eek:

    Confirmed. First you need to start the game. Then exit the game, open PLR and the value is there.

    Just fired up rf2, pressed alt+M, it worked but only once. and now the Texture Sharpening="5" is avail in .PLR

    Updater work like a charm, but when I click verify, I always get alot of failed verification.

    I delete everything in subfolders in log, shaders and so on. And restarted the game, and then exit it.

    Then tried a verify again, still getting failed verification. Why is this happening? Shouldent the installer remove those files and let them be reproduced or something?

    Now, the update works fine, I'm just anoyed that it says failed when verifying.

    Thanks for addressing the requested Alt+M fix. But please make it easy for us--which setting replicates the old-fashioned Alt+M (disable lod bias)?
