Hey everyone, I run a small Youtube channel and have recently started a series called Jimmy's mod centre. The goal of the series is to expose mods to subscribers whilst providing a review. The content i'm reviewing is currently limited to cars/series so things like tracks and sound mods are not being looked at right now. I really want to do some more episodes that include rF2 , so if you're a mod maker and want your car(s) reviewed or just have a suggestion then get in contact below! Here are the first two episodes from the series.
Good start man... I liked it... I liked your rFactor 2 makes me sad even more, as I have the same sort of feelings towards rF2... I just wish you'd crank up the graphics (you said you had a capable PC ) the shadows leaves the impression that you can buff it up a notch... Also have seen a few of your rF1 vids, league race of A1 Ring 97 (because Empty Box liked it on his channel) and the Super Touring mod (latter one also was recorded with low graphics) and I just want to say that I'd love to see you being the 'rFactor's Empty Box'... I've watched a lot of Matts videos just for the driving and his views... It's just that it's mostly iRacing Keep it up!
Thanks dude. I'm hoping to get away from iRacing a bit, so it's nice to hear good feedback on the videos around rF/rF2. Hopefully I'll remember to turn up the graphics next time ;P
Great, could you add where the mod's can be found? Scratch that.... your link from the You tube page was great! Thanks for your work RK
Great reviews, Jimmy, but personally I could do without the 70'ish lounge background music - give us more car sounds instead, especially when talking about it. Just a little constructive criticism
Yea I like/enjoy your reviews They are very objektiv and informativ. Here and there some more ingame sounds for example for the last review the unique URD-Darche engine sound would be nice. Please continue with your reviews. thx alex
(This is my 3rd time trying to reply to this) Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely keep this is mind when working on the next one.
