Did you manually overclock your Ti to 1223Mhz or did it come set from factory? My Base/Boost Ti Ghz Edition runs 1150 Mhz factory.

 

Is that base or Boost settings and did you use OC Guru to OC your card?

 

EVGA GTX 780 Ti Classified has dual bios, I used nvflash and kingpin bios.

EVGA has great community all info to OC EVGA cards can bee found there.

 

I also use a modded BIOS. Ive switched around BIOS probably almost 20 times - never had a single problem. It's so much better. The dynamic clock speeds, boosting, throttling, etc. of modern NVidia GPUs are a joke - they could cause a stutter, even major FPS slowdowns when the GPU thinks you don't need high clock speeds in order to maintain a certain fps, and even lower benchmark results.

Now I get a constant, 100% consistent GPU clock speed during gameplay and that's it. Throttling from going over a set power limit or temperature still works. I set my temp target to 95 degrees, raised my power limit, and set the priority to temp. I never have to worry about any stutters/slowdowns now, while keeping the heat-throttling active just in case.

 

I use Afterburner with original BIOS to OC by approx. 100hz on the GPU... Power set to 106%.. simple, but effective and never has gone above 42°C under water and never have throttling issues.

 

Here is Bios I am using at the moment,

EVGA 780 Ti Classified P0 State - bench bios rev 1

EVGA Precision X16

Power target, 200%
GPU Clock Offset, + 208 MHZ
Mem Clock Offset, +699 MHZ

I have also water cooling temp is 45-50°C

Thanks for the link and info guys. Just some questionif you guys dont mind. I have an Gigabyte GTX 780Ti GHz Edition, will I be able to flash the bios on this card? I will change the stock fan to water cooled.

Not that impressive a difference with air cooling....although managed to get 1516Mhz Core Clock, will redo with some proper OC under water when the waterblock comes.

Is this thread still active ? I went on nvidia's forum on that thread you linked and they didn't seem to fix the issue, or did they ?

I was just about to pull all my hairs out with the awful shimmering in fallout 4, all my grass and tree branches and foliage looks like those black wires in your image and it shimmers like a xmass tree on steroids. Tried like 3 solution of AA and other methods, but something that awful can't be fixed, game still barely playable.

Btw, what is the solution now ? To copy that direct3d dll in the folder your game exe is and then turn on Clamp from nvidia control panel ? Haven't quite understand it fully.

I dunno I do not get as bad quality these days.

GTX970 , latest driver and no nvidia inspector.

Ugly no HDR but runs off its head full fields, no jags, looks great.

Why you think you need that .dll, apart slowing down the game?

 

This isn't needed anymore. Note that this is a very old thread, so it probably contains a lot of info that isn't relevant anymore. I'd say close the thread.

The function you're looking for has been added in rF2 since then and the default setting has reduced the jaggs a lot. Look for a line called "Texture sharpening" in your player.json file if you still want to tweak it further.
