I know they're working on the track but I haven't seen any screenies of the car. I'm more excited for the track cause we need more tracks!!
You know, I was just looking for the right thread to post that video and I ended up here. Yes, I agree with the above. I do realize how difficult it may be to get the right samples, but I really hope we can get close to that video - even if this means cheating a little
please please please , Indy cars at St Petes and rf2 ..heaven and for sugar on top Barber motorsport complex ( Birmingham)
The versions of St. Pete I have seen in other sims don't begin to do the track surface justice. I work in downtown St. Pete and the track surface is so rough, I don't know how they race there. Especially the parrt where they cut across a parking lot for the University- there is a patch of very rough tarmac and the transitions from street-parking lot-street have these enormous bumps from going over gutters. Not to mention that the road is just generally torn up and ancient. I had taken a bunch of pictures of the circuit as they were putting it together last year, but I don't have them anymore since it looks like no one is going to make that track from scratch. I'd love to see an accurate and real-life bumpy version of St. Pete in the game though.
Agree completely. The Indy/CART tracks we have are far from 2012 standards, much less today's in both textures and surface quality.
I guess it's still not as bad as San Jose: Can't imagine nowadays Formula 1 car survive 10 laps there I guess that's what you get when you make open wheelers race on top of tram / railway tracks.
That's even worse than Baltimore- they had to put in a chicane to prevent cars from launching over the RR tracks. The chicane was put in at the last minute when in Friday practice some cars got air over the tracks and one car took heavy damage. I tried to find video, but no luck. But that San Jose video is insane- can you imagine how much that must hurt very lap?
Will it have the 2013 and 2014 engines? Honda had the single turbo in 2012, Chevy had the double turbo. This year they both have double turbo units.
