How can i get my money back

    hello, i bought rfactor2 last sunday and the last 3 days the game is unplayble and buggy.
    Please can someone help me and say how i can get my money back?

    in the launcher under purchase, there is no button for refund.

    There are a lot of helpful guys (and girls) here; sure you don't want to try and get it working properly?
    It's worth it!

    navi im sorry but i spended now 2 years on alpha or beta games.. i dont like to play anymore.

    but dont worry, there is no other sim atm to buy rfactor2 have the best physics i think. but im not here to support i like to have fun when i play videogames

    I understand. I too want to play and not be a computer/setup specialist in order to do so.
    The game (bit controversial here) is not really in A- or B mode anymore and it IS very well playable. There's always "a setting....." but you know how it is; that's with all the games.
    Of course I won't twist your arm, but as you have a month to figure it out before refunding, might be worth a try, right? Once you get it running properly, you won't have to fiddle all the time ;)
    But; your call of course.

    navi, its only 7 days to try^^ from the 7 days i had played only 3 days tomorow i have 7 days trial ending, and at the moment idk.

    We advise you to install the demo version to check if your system can run rFactor2 before you purchase, but after purchasing you may request a refund for rFactor2, if eligible. Your eligibility depends on when you made your purchase and is good for 7 days. 7 days should be more than enough time to see if development is moving at a pace you are happy with, or if the product is outside your tastes.

    i also was asking here in german forum before i bought to try other cars needed to buy rf2.

    also there is no other sim or other sims using gmotor without multiplayer atm, maybe i sell my t500 and later this year i buy a new one when any sim ready to play, also filled servers

    So......how do you see development when there's no update in the meantime? ;)

    Have you described your problems somewhere here?

    Or is it just unplayable because of old hardware? We hare many here that are willling to help you get it running properly if your hardware is meeting the minimum requirements.

    Can you point me other titles giving you the refund option and a free demo with rotating contents?? Oh wait. I'm sure this is not the point. Isn't it?

    i refunded pcars after 2 years, its not about the 7 days..



    before 5 days i was faszinated from the physics and i posted what i dont like. i was trying to help and said tesselation would be good with dx11. devs or mods said dx11 technology is not needed.

    now they released a new build, unplayable online!

    they bring new lighting on dx9 many people dont like the fps drops.

    so i only do what ISI say what i should do on their own website: "7 days should be more than enough time to see if development is moving at a pace you are happy with, or if the product is outside your tastes."

    Maybe it is, maybe it isn't.

    But my point was; how to see development in a week? Maybe that line need to be changed? Maybe some other thing of development was meant?
    Just curious.

    If the temp. hiccup in the current build (2 days old) and its unexpected problem with MM which is undoubtedly going to be resolved soon enough, is reason for you to go for a refund then yes, go for it. because that kind of attention-span or patience is not going to get you far with rf2 (or any other sim/game/phone/card game/oxygen-type of interaction)

    Why even bother pfft . uncalled for, he so has a point with the latest build


    this would be the worst problem by far and no LOTS of people dont have the patience to put up with it

    Not many developers give refunds. I can't think of one.

    I'd find interesting to know why you bought the game. Just curious. :)

    If you know how a developing works then you should be aware issues and bugs happens. It happens for games, it happens for OS, it happens for each piece of software out there.

    I think I spent something around 10K € for my pro softwares and I'm still finding bugs and getting crash here and there. Should I give up from my job and ask for a refund to Autodesk, Adobe, Maxon, Wacom etc etc ? :)

    Yeah I know you want to play without waste your time to make things working (believe me, I can understand your point), but doesn't work like that in the PC market/world. No matter what you're expecting or how much money you spent, code is code. :)
