Hey ISI, Is there a problem with the mirage effect? Does it still work? I haven't seen this effect with any setting I tried. What happened?

Hello, we have a strange issue with our server (Build494), very fresh installation. Started with a combo of standard car and track (Brianza & Corvette), after a lot of tries without success (MOD not available) we could join the server. After a while driving with 7 driver another driver joined the server. Now rfactor2 dedicated server freezes complete and in the chat was seen: driver xyz joined, left, joined, left and so on. Then i went to our game server and found rfactor2 crashed (this program is not longer working). We tried Build 515. After a while driving, same issue. We have nothing installed except rfactor2 (no plugins etc.) This happen with and without AI. Any suggestion? Regards Juergen P.S.:Sorry for my english... Not a fix but a workaround, boot that driver from the dedicated panel asap (booting within rf2 doesn't work so it seems) Its harsh but at least booting them (in time) wont crash the server.

i have had rf2 from 1 beta version when i set all on max settings and have 12 fps i have not test rf2 anymore and it was deleted from my race pc and server pc now when i heard that the progress of rf2 shall be mush better i install light version of build 494 download all isi orginal cars and tracks for server pc and my race pc it is so much better now then 1 beta when it comes to ping and all for that i am happy what i see is now isi cars is show not mod but multiCmp aha at last a new mod not need to come with 1 track or more great works more as rfactor 1 still does other modders then isi realese mod on the old way car with tracks so now i not test new beta versions and many mods tracks because if things f up i not wanna sit and download TB of mods and tracks agin and restart all from scratch rf2 is 10 times more diffucult to understand then rf1 so one replaced file for example chance racestart sound can do that rf2 not even start i have test that and could not start rf2 in 6 month because of 1 small single edit by the way i like the rft 2013 mod the sad in that mod is that not was realeased as a multiCmp so we can host mod and tracks as we like separated
Just for my comprehension...it is posible to host single tracks and single cars without vmod or rfmod files? Would make me wondering...but my rf2 knowledge is very basic. Regards Juergen
I'm not a modder, but seems to me Tim is saying it's material settings, so the problem can be both at tracks and vehicles or helmets. I expect ISI is currently updating their own stuff.
