The old 'bus stop' was cool but I quite like the new one.

I much prefer the modern layouts to the historic ones.

I may be the only person who doesnt care for modern Spa. The whole track is 'meh' except for a downhill chicane frequently taken flat out while the driver is busy adjusting something on the wheel.

With some tracks I agree like at Pukekohe. I like the new version better than the old. But some I hate the new layout like Silverstone. It's kind of dumb to make RACE tracks slow IMHO. But one great thing about sim racing is we can pick and choose tracks from many eras and race what we want where we want.

Some of those old tracks are a little boring though. The 70s Silverstone is a bit boring. There's a sweet spot in between though.

I Googled for that spa ver2.0 also but came up empty. Thanks for looking out.

This version only has 13 pit spots- same prob. I need a version with 20. thanks anyway though.

easy & quick enough to add more when you know how, see the AIW tutorial in the tracks area of the modding forum. Adding garages and pit stop places literally takes minutes to do.

I tried to get it into devmode, no luck.

I'd really like to get rid of the cars starting in the garages and they (at least 20) just start right in pitlane (like in iDT Long Beach). If anyone could help me I'd appreciate it. I went by Spaskis' tutorial on getting a track into devmode but my PC just locks up. After 3 reboots and many more lock ups I have given up. I have never had any luck with devmode anyway- I can get the rTrainer and Joesville and that's it

Someone had mentioned track 3d survey data for spa 2000~ (I can't remember exactly when) also can't find the thread. But even so, I would expect anything for some time :)

Nah... it's just an intuition I have... I don't have proof... But often my intuition is right :) But don't remove the link until someone has more than just intuition :)

EDIT: I have one Spa I know is Codie, and it's the same filesize... so... yeah :)

There's a SPA_2013 going around which is most certainly Codemasters. There was a Spa v.86 (which I assume is the precursor to this 1.0) which apart from the trackside tree line transparency, worked quite fine.

That's exactly it... The 0.86 was codemaster conversion, this is an evolution of that.

yeah 0.86 was giving me rage fits last night...sadistic use of curbs. takes quite a bit to get me angry but i was honestly sorta pissed at the guy that did that lol. i assume 1.0 has that sorted...ill check it out, thanks a ton.
