So... does anyone know what we are waiting for? If not - what are your hopes and expectations for the next Build?
I'm expecting the usual bugs fixing and optimisation stuff, hoping for more AI related things too. What I'd like is more items from the wish list forum getting in, we've had a few things already but now over two years on I like to hope ISI start adding more new features as requested by us
Well to be honest i don't expect much from the next update. I just don't see alot of progress lately. Always happy to be proven wrong, of course
Something that makes it worthwhile racing in wet conditions. Less crashing and lagging also (latter haven't been so bad but can always be improved).
Little fixes really as I have no major problems with it. Bought a GTX 780 so that took care of any performance problems
More of the same, nothing impressive. I'm still wishing they will polish it up before they carry on with nothing impressive, forgive my pessimistic outlook but its not without evidence.
Ditto, too many half poilished features with no sight of them being polished off and dont give me "waiting on new tech" as an excuse, the PLR entries of extra Practice/Qualifying/Race sessions being a prime example of something half working as it should but no sign of it being completed
Have to agree with Bart , I would much rather see unfinished business taken care of then hard targets bean reached in development. We can't even sell rf2 to our members or new arrivals because the reports on rf2 are always the same, always about stuff not functioning as it should and how do you work around it, we need to get a move on already, its hurting our league bigtime.
Hopes? Many. Expectations? By this time, very few. I know we'll get there one day, but trying to judge what will be fixed (or broken) in each build is a mug's game. The irony is that despite this being one of the more concrete expectations in this thread (apart from the build number changing!), Silverstone isn't build related at all.
From Jeremy Miller on Twitter: "Builds going to testers soon. Includes better HDR, changing veh in practice, track side cam shadows/LODs, animated feet. Hopefully all pass"
