We had a league race in Monza last Sunday with this mod. Great fun. One thing we wondered was that lowering rear wing in Monza didn't lead to expected results. For example, I was faster with max wing than with 8 wing. We understand that Monza is compromise between downforce and straight line speed, but it was kinda weird max wing was fastest way around the track. I don't mind it too much because cars are still awesome to drive imo, but some people might see that as a turnoff. Another thing was that cars could take heavy beating with 50% damage without recieving any noticable damage. Is this a mod setting? I assumed 50% wouldn't be so forgiving. Keep up the good work!
as we always say "Let to do a lot of thing and we correct in the next update the remaining bug you find " so those one surely be adressed , thanks
Well, keeping things balanced and realistic is the goal here but going higher downforce at speedfest such as Monza isn't bonkers. We all remember RB domination during 2011 and 2013 GP when they had slowest top speed (or thereabout) but highest downforce, great traction and shortest gear ratios. Half of the S/F straight was driven hitting the rev limiter in 7th gear. Still pole and race win. It's still long way to go for the new version to come out and lots of tweaking. Yoss is already fed up with me because of my nit picking on every single detail. ;-)
I'm finding this common with all the GT and touring car mods, not just specific to this. I ran the megane, Nissan GT1, and the URD mod cars at Sebring and found it was better to have more rear downforce than less. Especially for the final corner and turn 1. I was much faster laptime, but slower on the straight. I use the same car setup for Sebring, monza, Istanbul, silverstone, and circuit of Americas Texas with minor adjustments.
sorry i have missing this message b.o.p was not bad with the benty ,but audi just have entered betatest , and with the ass.... ronnie behind the Wheel ,we surely find 100 bugs on physics ..so...
Are you planning adding this to steam workshop? I kinda dont want to download it knowing i will have to keep download it all again everytime new version comes out
